Hatertse en Overasseltse Vennen

Great area to get out of the city when you're in the Nijmegen area. Enjoy a bit of Dutch nature that shows you what this part of the country looked like on a larger scale years and years ago. Very peaceful and great for a leisurely stroll or picnic.

Love going on long walks here! Highly recommend it

Pure paradise for mountain bikers, hikers and runners! The nature looked so pure, undisturbed and wild. We walked with a 3-wheeled bike trailer so that the kids (3 & 5 yrs) could rest every now and then, and we never had difficult on the paths. I loved every inch of the walk.

A place to explore nature, right outside of Nijmegen. There are walking routes that visitors can follow and have a lovely day within nature. Good place for landscape artists and photographers. Also decent eateries nearby for a bite and a sip. Ample parking spaces are also available.

Beautiful area to walk with the dog. Please stay on the paths and don't litter so we can all enjoy it for a long time.

Really lovely piece of nature! There are (at least) two walking routes through there, a short and a long one. We did the short one and enjoyed it a lot!

The lake with the large beach was fantastic spent lots of time walking round here very nice area, shame about the highway noise in distance but can't be helped, watching dogs play in the water and learning about the parks history was a highlight, would highly recommend a visit

Wonderful natural wooded and rolling grassy plains area with hiking, biking and horseback trails.

Its so quiet and beautiful ! Some benches, nice pads.

Nice place for a walk! You can see wild cows, dragonflies, butterflies, birds and squirrels.

Great nature and walking around. There s a lake, sand dunes, forest. Really cozy
