The undying passion for cricket has many a time proved dangerous for the cricket players. Moreover, fans risk everything to display their anger or affection. Cricket unites Indians like nothing else and from kids to adults; everyone keeps track of the cricket score whenever the Indian team is playing.

Cricket in various formats is enjoyed by people all over the world as well. Even business tycoons are now investing in the game to cash in on the popularity.

The board of cricket is taking various measures to make the games more interesting through organizing the Indian Premier League and more. In short, it is safe to say that cricket is not merely a sport but an emotion in our country. It makes people come together for good. It also strengthens our relationship with other countries and maintains the sportsman spirit.

It lasts up to five days and two countries play against each other in this match. Next up, we have the National League Systems, also called counties in England. Their duration is for three to four days.

Limited Overs Cricket is another type where the number of episodes decides the format and length of the game. Both the teams get to play a single inning and thus results are determined.

However, if it rains, they apply the Duck worth- Lewis Method to attain results. One of the most common formats is One Day International also known as ODI. Two countries play against each other for a total of fifty overs. Finally, this is probably the most entertaining format of cricket, the Twenty-20. It only has 20 overs to play and is quite exciting and engaging.

A perfect location for international stadium. Thank you dhurmus suntali (sitaram kattel, kunjana ghimire) for this initiation.

is a cricket stadium planned to be built at Chitwan, Nepal. The campaign for the stadium was started by the Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation. The stadium gets its name from the nearby situated site of Lumbini where Buddha was born. The stadium construction is scheduled to be completed by 2025.

The land for the construction has been provided by the Government of Nepal through Bhatratpur Metropolitan City. The co-founder of the Dhurmus-Suntali foundation Sitaram Kattel says that the stadium will be funded by generous donors from all around the world. He hopes that if the donations aren't sufficient then the Government will provide funds to finish the project. The project has ignited hopes in the hearts of Nepalese Citizens as there isn't any ICC standard stadium in the country. Upon completion of the project, it will pave ways for Nepal to hold international games and tournaments.

I have been working here as a civil enginer for more than a year. Feeling proud for being a part of this huge upliftment in sports sector of our country and at the other side feeing demotivated too from the obstacles for this development. I think government must take its decision quickly for this social wellbeing before it is too late.

Amazing work happening at the Gautam Buddha Cricket Stadium. The guided tour for fund collection was amazing and managed very professionally. The volunteer guides were both well informed and well versed about the ongoing construction work.

Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium

1. Introduction - Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium
The development and submission of this Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium (referred to as GBICS hereafter) partnership proposal is to generate cash or in-kind support from individuals and organizations to help complete the project as envisioned. The construction of multi-faceted sport complex was deemed necessary for the development of sport and cricket as an emerging game in Nepal. Nepal has participated and represented at international cricket tournaments in recent years and has the potential to become strong contender and a cricketing nation in South Asia if proper infrastructure and facilities are provided to young and aspiring cricketers. Past experiences have shown that present level of preparation and training of cricketers and other sport players alone typically would bring little or no growth in their performances. Thus, players training and preparations must be strongly complemented by appropriate infrastructure and training complex for speedy growth of players to compete in international sport events and tournaments. Hence, it is the combination of the both training and appropriate infrastructure that will result in the greatest sport outcomes in the future.
