I had one of my most amazing experiences in this homestay! It will be very hard to emphasize in words the kindness and generosity of Kiran's and his family.

Dhunkharka is an amazing village to relax, breath fresh air, and to see amazing sunrises from this homestay yard and windows (even a bit of Everest).

I had the incredible opportunity to climb together with Kiran to Bethanchowk Narayanthan for sunrise, seeing many famous Himalaya peaks, and learn a lot about the place and the surrounding.

Will extremely recommend anyone to stay at Kiran's house, and I would recommend to contact them via Facebook or Whatsapp before arrival.

I had an amazing day exploring wonderful places with beautiful views and experiencing great hospitality.

Have a blast great place and great hospitality..

Dhunkharka Homestay took around two hours to reach from Kathmandu on a motorcycle. The road beyond Panauti is mostly gravelled and slippery at places and the last portion is particularly difficult. However, the trip is worth the effort as the views of green fields & layers of hills, mountains is really breathtaking. The peaceful and quiet Homestay has just the basic amenities but the owners are really genuine and down to earth people who make you feel at home immediately. The traditional Nepali house with a wood balcony, where the Homestay is being run, has clean rooms and bedsheets. Food is authentic and tasty. Local chicken and millet liquor are available on demand. There are a lot places you can visit from there including Bethanchowk and Damar.

Amazing hospitality. I had stayed at this homestay twice and I feel like my own home.

Recently visit there. Good Hospitality. can stay there during the Bethanchwok Visit (hike) or to escape from the daily hectic schedule. will definetly visit next time also

Been there in 2019! Great place to stay and lots of nice nature activities to do around in the area! Lovely and family and really good food. The guestrooms are comfortable and clean.
