Eco Horqueta

I did the coffee tour with my family, it was a real experience of making organic coffee and grabbing some cherries on the trees.
Lorraine and her mom were amazing explaining the full process of making coffee. I would recommend this tour that completely change your mind of drinking coffee.

my goodness what an amazing spot! It's quite the adventure to get to, but the drive up is breathtaking! Once you arrive, you are greeted by chickens, dogs and the two warmest, friendliest most knowledgeable women you would ever want to meet, Maria Jesus and Marilyn. The cabins are sweet and very comfortable with full bathrooms. They are perched on the hillside and have a lovely deck with an amazing view. Quiet, peace, stillness. It's such a contrast to the hustle and bustle of Boquete, which is only 15 minutes away!

Excelente experience! Lorraine really goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable during your stay. The property is pet friendly, brought the dog and she was super welcoming to us. The food was delicious, she made a customized vegetarian dinner based on my dietary restrictions and it was genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in Panama! There’s no wifi Internet but if you have data on your mobile there’s signal. There’s hot water but no electricity in the property or at least in the casitas so she provides you with some rechargeable light bulbs to bring to the room, in case you want to read before bed or don’t want to brush your teeth in the darkness. The sleep I had was one of the best, I woke up rejuvenated.

Had an absolute blast of a stay at Lorraine's lodge. Lorraine's team made our stay unforgettable - cats and dogs complemented the great people. The views from the rooms are fantastic - we were able to see Vulcan Baru on most of the days when clouds dispersed. Food that Loraine creates is an art form and absolutely delicious. We did not have dinner anywhere else but her restaurant.

We just had lunch here. It was amazing. If you're into a zero waste, minimalistic look and feel - you'll love it here. The food was also 5 stars, as you can see in the photos. The staff presented each meal and gave a professional description. We went on the fun thousands tire trail. The dogs were friendly and joined us. The staff was very friendly. We'd highly recommend booking a meal or stay. Also the view was amazing.

The very amazing hospitality from Lorraine and all the other. The concept it self is very great and it is absolutely no issue to live without power a few days - you remember again what holidays are really for - relaxing!!!

The food is very good. Amazing in the morning and fabulous for dinner. Everybody should try it!!!

The next time when we are at Boquete we will stay here again.

You are looking for adventure, experiences and something unique? In the eco lodge in Boqute you will find the right spot. No internet, no power, no Luxus but lots of love, nature and delicious food. I can highly recommend this place to have some days of disconnection.

The ladies at this hotel are amazing. I can’t say enough about them. They have built this place from the ground up and it shows. They are eco conscious, and they built it on a piece of land with a perfect view of volcán Baru from your room. Lorraine is a trained chef and her mother gives the most amazing coffee tour from start to finish, you make your own coffee. They were so accommodating and drove us everywhere we needed to go, took us hiking, showed us what living in boquete was really like. It’s rustic and the perfect escape from the city. You have to stay with these ladies they will be the reason you come back to boquete.

Ce lieu est un havre de paix. Lorraine et Paul sont des personnes attachantes et généreuses, à limage de leur cuisine qui a enchanté nos papilles pendant notre séjour. Leur maison d'hôtes est en pleine nature et pourtant très facile à rejoindre en transports en communs. La propreté est irréprochable et à proximite il y a de magnifiques randonnées. Vois pouvez en plus acheter sur place du café biologiques de la finca, qui est délicieux. Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans ce cocon de verdure. Que de belles ondes dans cet endroit ! Merci pour tout !

Diese Unterkunft war eins der Highlights des Urlaubs!
Wir waren hier für zwei Nächte während der Osterzeit. Lorraine und Ihre Mutter sind wirklich nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Das Abendessen war ebenso wie das Frühstück absolutes Highlight des Urlaubs. Lorraine, die in einem schweizer Sternerestaurant ihre Ausbildung gemacht hat, verzauberte uns mit Köstlichkeiten. Selbst der Frühstücksspeck schmeckte wie aus einer anderen Welt.

Die Kaffeefrührung war der Hammer! Wir lernten die kompletten Prozess und machten jeden Schritt Selbst mit, vom Pflücken bis zum rösten und abschließendem genießen des Kaffees.

Wir hatten eine hervorragend Zeit, vielen Dank!

Wundervolle Kaffeefarm, die Mutter, Tochter und Schwiegersohn betreiben. Wir haben die Coffee Tour hier gemacht. Es wird viel über die ursprüngliche Kaffee Herstellung erzählt, man pflückt, röstet und probiert. Einfach nur toll. Schade, dass wir dort nicht übernachtet haben.

Excelente lugar, sin duda el lugar perfecto para desconectarte del mundo y conectarte con la naturaleza, el trato de las dueñas es el más personalizado y atento que he vivido!
Las habitaciones son espaciosas cómodas y con una vista envidiable!
El clima es agradable todo el día (frío) y en la noche es súper frío!
Las instalaciones son eco friendly y son hermosas.
No hay señal de teléfono, sin embargo cuentan con internet wi-fi.

El lugar está a 20 min del centro de boquete, pero para los amantes del turismo aventura y ecofriendly estas cabañas son perfectas. Nos levantábamos con el sonido del Río debajo, la lluvia fresca y el olor a cafecito (tienen cafetales y hacen degustaciones). Los desayunos son mega abundantes, muy caseros y deliciosos😋. Después de las 6 no salíamos del hotel porque el trayecto en auto se volvía muy oscuro y hay un par de riscos que mejor evitarlos. No hay luz en la cabaña y el wifi es un poco débil, pero este lugar es una aventura, y no un clásico hotel de ciudad. Las cabañas son privadas, muy lindas con una cama súper grande. Volveremos sin dudas!!

Fui a una clase de cocina italiana donde me enseñaron a cocinar pasta desde cero y cuatro tipos de salsas básicas. Fue una experiencia única, desde el trato súper amable de todos, hasta las vistas hermosas que tiene el lugar. La clase fue perfecta, súper personalizada y práctica, yo misma pude hacer paso a paso con la guía y ayuda de Paul y Lorayne(los chefs). Recomiendo esta actividad un 110%, súper entretenida para todo público, puede ser algo familiar, de amigos o con esa persona especial.

Hermoso Lugar te hace desconectarte de la rutina y conectartr con la Naturaleza para disfrutar de su belleza y esplendor. Excelente servicio, trato único y agradable, nos encantò aprender a preparar pasta y luego disfrutar de una Deliciosa Cena en familia. Gracias por los detalles que hicieron una celebraciòn 3 en 1. Mis hijos y esposa quedaron encantados. Claro que volveremos a ir y claro que sì Super Recomendado.

Eco Horqueta ist ein wundervoller Ort etwas abgelegen von Boquete mit wundervollen Menschen, die du hier kennenlernen wirst . Man erreicht von hier viele bekannte Wandertrails problemlos. Du lernst dank Lorraine‘s außergewöhnlichen Kochkünsten Panama von einer anderen Seite kennen. Wir wollen die Erfahrung nicht mehr in unserem Leben missen und wünschen Lorraine, ihrer Mutter und allen Freunden nur das Beste für die Zukunft.
