Pizzas were surprisingly delicious! My son had the Porky and I had the Troppa Buona. The two pasta dishes were also great. The portion is generous. I couldn’t finish my pizza and I can usually eat 3 NY slices.

The restaurant is very well located. The complimentary appetizer was delicious. Both dishes were very well portioned, flavorful, and technically well executed. The tiramisu is truly sensational. It's made tableside in front of us, with the waiter explaining. Definitely worth a visit!

after a long day of exploring the Incan ruins on the outskirts of Cusco, we enjoyed a lovely pasta dinner at Carpe Diem. service was quick with attentive staff. we started with the stracitella appetizer (a perfect starter for two hungry travellers!) and a glass of wine each. there is only one red and one white wine option by the glass but many more options if you want a bottle. for my main I had the burrata ravioli while my boyfriend had the tonnerelli. both pasta dishes were very flavourful and fresh, depending on where you are sitting you can see staff preparing the fresh pasta and pizza dough! highly recommend this spot while in Cusco if you are craving some good Italian food. we also recommend a reservation as we waited about 25 minutes for a table because this spot is deservedly busy!

I actually didn't expect much coming into Carpe Diem but I was pleasant surprised! They make good pasta fresh in house. The pizza dough is objectively very good. The complimentary bread is small but delicious. The amatriciana uses bacon (as said on the menu) and not gunciale which is understandable but disappointing, and it overpowers the dish. If you're experienced in Italian pastas then you'll probably find quite a bit of sauce more than needed. Still, the flavors are very good, and I'd return.

Really friendly and accommodating staff, plus some of the best pizza I've had on the whole freaking planet. Highly recommend!

The thing is I really wanted some Italian food after a week in Cusco and this restaurant was what I was looking for.
The tiramisu experience, making it in front of you is nice.

Jesus was our waiter, we had an incredible experience as he recommended the best Italian wine on the menu, he was also very understanding and patient with our food restrictions, making us feel welcome and comfortable, we recommend this place if you’re craving for some organic Italian cuisine in Cuzco city!!!

The restaurant is really good, the staff is wonderful and they will take care of anything you need. I was very surprised by the taste of the fresh food and how quickly the dishes get ready, I’ve been there many times while I was in the city and I can guarantee you that you will have a good service in there.. here it is some photos of the dishes that I had there

Holy smokes! One of my favorite places in Cusco.

Amazing flavors, friendly staff, great ambience. We went twice. The first time we got a pizza (something with mustard oil, it was really good) and then on our second visit we got some pasta dishes that were simple but delicious -- very fresh flavors!

Very good italian restaurant. They serce quite tasty pizza neapolitan style. IT really is neapolitan, prepared 24hours. The cheese could be better but IT was really tasty. At the end we got the complimentary limoncello.

A must visit if in Cusco! The food, ambience and staff are all amazing. Our waiter was Daniel and he was so lovely and attentive and we didn’t have to wait long for anything. I ordered the Bosco Segreto Gnocci and it was genuinely one of the nicest things I’ve ever had! The house wine was delicious and we also ordered a tiramisu that was constructed at the table in front of us by Daniel and was better than any I’ve had in Italy. It’s always busy and I can see why! We visited more than once and the frozen lemonade and pizza are also delicious but the gnocci and tiramisu are absolute standouts! Go and visit!

This was hands down THE BEST pasta and sauce I’ve ever eaten!! I’m vegetarian, my husband is not. We both LOVED our food. It’s all home made there. The service was incredible. I highly highly recommend!

It's a must go if you are in Cuzco and you love pasta, crafted beer, real Italian pizza and wine, with many things they serve. This time I tried two types of pizza and it was delicious. I also ordered a crafted beer and for dessert I ate "tiramisú", it was really good, not too sweet, just in the right spot. The people who work there are very nice and polite.

Had to give this a 5 star rating. The food was excellent. The pizza melted in your mouth. The salads were excellent, a little on the big side but well worth it
