Hilton Garden Inn Cusco

I would give it an extra star if it were an option. I can safely say that this is the best service and experience I have ever received in the last 5 years as a Diamond member.

We were a family of 3 staying here for 5 nights.

First of all, got us a lovely room as part of our diamond upgrade. Nice, clean, rooms, with all the standard amenities you can expect at a Hilton. Hotel itself is fantastic with a beautiful courtyard you can relax in. Not to mention, lovely location on a hill, with a view of Cusco town, and 15 mins downhill walk to the main market.

Breakfast spread and restaurant food in general was great. We and our friends ordered a number of items from the menu and everything was really tasty! The restaurant staff was extremely courteous, always going above an beyond. Special shout out to Milagros for taking care of us!

Finally, A HUGE THANK YOU to Laura at front desk (along with Angela) - 8 of our friends had SNAFU with their flights, and I had to urgently book them rooms at this hotel. Laura took care of every request with a smile on her face! Thank you so much!!

Loved this hotel. It was a good workout walking to the plaza but they walk definitely helped me acclimatize for the Inca Trail hike. Room was clean and comfy. They even upgraded us for being members. Laura at the front desk was very helpful.

Had a pleasant stay at the Hilton Garden Inn! The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff is amazing.
It has a nice courtyard where you can sit, relax or eat and it has a restaurant on site

The staff at the hotel was very kind and accommodating, and went out of their way to help us. They provided to-go breakfast for very early excursions, as well as room service when we got back late. The hotel has lovely views from the top of the hill, and it is an easy walk to downtown.

Nice location at the top of the hill. Nice view of the entire city. Service is very good and polite. Breakfast is ok. Walking distance downhill to the main square.

This is a great place to stay if you want to visit Cusco. I really like the courtyard and enjoy my room and dining. The service is unbeatable and all the staff are amazing and professional! They also helped me to arrange taxi to/from the airport. When we come back from Machu Picchu, we will stay here again!

Really the best choice in town.

Very quite room. Great noise blocking windows and door. The Cuzco city center is very active til late night. If you're high sensitive to noise, this is a good distance to stay away from the Plaza Mayor de Cusco area. It's about 15-18 mins walk from the city center including a long stair - don't underestimate the walk at 11,200 ft altitude, but the Uber from Plaza Mayor de Cusco to hotel was only about S/.8-10.

Room is nicely sized, clean and having everything we need.

We stayed 3 nights here and everyday the breakfast was slightly different. Great variety of food. They also gave us take out box for our last day day trip.

Front desk is very friendly and informative. We booked our all day taxi from Cuzco to Ollantaytambo stopping several ruins on the way for S/. 240. The car was in better condition comparing to the taxi/Uber you can get on the street.

Alfredo at the restaurant really took excellent care of us everyday especially on the day we had to leave early at 5 am. He help us pack breakfast to go since the dining does not open until 530am. Mucho gracias Alfredo.

One of the BEST Hilton experiences ever! We truly appreciated the welcome at check in by Jackie. The nice perks throughout recognizing us as Diamond members was truly amazing! Jacquline at the front desk was outstanding so was the lady in the spa who gave me a message and thank you to the kind staff at the breakfast buffet rooms were very clean.

Good place to stay and my van to Machu Picchu even picked me up there.
Beware of the elevation and thin air. My normally 95 to 96% pulse ox reading went down to about 85% the first day!

The service at this place is top! They secured my room upgrade two days before my check-in date. I was given a room on the top floor with great views. They decorated my room with many good details. They also arranged airport pick up for us (with extra cost).

Buffet breakfast could be improved since there were a lot of carbs but not quite enough proteins or fruits.

The hotel is in the perfect location. If you do go to the hotel, do book with the view. It is about 10-15 min walk to the city center.
We were greeted by Antony at our arrival who gave us plenty of information. We also got to spin the wheel and got free drinks.

They went above and beyond. The rooms were cleaned by Maria. I have stayed Hilton properties around the world, Middle-East, Asia, North America and this was my best experience. I have never had a room cleaned and things organized. Maria did a fantastic job. We were super-impressed.

The restaurant has good food and the rooms are great. Definitely recommend it.

This hotel was beautiful nestled just above Cusco main square. The staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and spacious and definitely worked for three people well.

The hotel restaurant had a great variety of food and drink which was helpful for late arrivals.

The location was a short 10-15 minute walk to the town square, but is a lot of stairs when returning. Taxi/Uber was 7-12 sol to return which made it super easy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Cusco. In my opinion, two critical items a hotel must afford patrons is cleanliness and a good night's rest. Of import to the latter is the mattress and pillows. Hilton affords it's guests a pillow menu - something I think all hotels should strive toward.

Another critical item for any hotel in South America is drinking water. I was pleased that the Hilton provided us with water bottles and the option to refill them with filtered water.

The location, meanwhile, is set off above the main tourist area. We found this perfect and had no issues walking to the main attractions; however, given the return is uphill, a taxi ride for s/3 is recommended. Meanwhile, hotel staff are always available to secure taxi transportation and offer helpful recommendations.

On a final note, we read some reviews that criticized the buffet breakfast. To our surprise, the buffet was one of the best I've had. Fresh squeezed OJ, a variety of breads, eggs cooked to your preference, meat, cereal, fresh fruit, etc. were readily available.

I had the best experience at Hilton garden inn in cusco. The housekeeping was impeccable and always left the room spotless. Also, I had checked out early as I had an early flight and learnt at the airport that the flight was delayed by 6 hours. Hilton very graciously allowed me to take my room back until the usual check out time of 11am. Much thanks to them!

Amazing hotel. Great views. Great rooms. Great staff. Great location. Only thing to be aware of is that it's at the top of the city, up a very steep and long staircase. Accessible by taxi and not a huge deal if you are fit and/or staying out the whole day. But just fyi. Coco tea and cookies available for free in the lobby too!
