Such a beautiful location. Small falls with a wide swimming pond. The water is so clean, but so cold. No one is seen swimming near the fall. Many local tourists are seen cooking food there create smoke. There are toilets and shower room which is a great thing. The place is overall clean. Parking fee is 50 pesos and need to walk 15 min from there.

Extremely serene, clear cold water and a touch of nature’s beauty, grandeur and force, one of the must visits at Manila.

so amazing to see this hidden gem just outside the bustling city of Manila! I love how clean the place is and how friendly the locals are. Another must see adventure if you have nowhere else to see in Manila.

If you want to enjoy the falls away from the crowd then you should visit on weekdays :) Trust me, you will be welcomed by a sea of people if you come on the weekend. However, the Taytay/]Majayjay Falls is beautiful.

Even on a summer season the water here is icy cold. you can even see your own breath when you are sitting by the water.

The natural waterfalls is managed and maintained by the LGU. Entrance is only 50 pesos/head. Seniors and kids below 7 are free.

There are rooms that you can rent by the stairs going down to the falls, but I would strongly discourage you to rent those. They are super cheap, and you will really see and feel it when you stay. It would be far better to rent rooms near the Barangay where you will make the entrance payment. Those are way better and maintained well. Do adding a thousand will definitely be worth it.

You can cook your own food by the falls. You can also rent tables and tents so you can have a picknick by the river at the foot of the falls. So you can eat and dip, and repeat.

Entrance fee is good for the entire day, so if you want to make the most of it you can come in the morning, set up camp, stay and have fun, then leave by 5pm or stay overnight in one of the cabins by the barangay hall.

Well maintained facilities. Affordable entrance fee. Can pay additional for a tent.
Water is crystal clear and freezing cold.
River bed is full of large natural stones.
You'll need to walk several minutes from the entrance to the falls so plan ahead on what you'll bring.

Still not open to the public as of June 27, 2021, Sunday.

The beautiful natural environment is more preserved and more flourishing because of the pandemic which minimized or get rid of massive abusive people to the ecosystem of Taytay Falls, Majayjay, Laguna province.

It’s a trek going down, but it’s already easy to visit since the walk path has already been cemented. On the weekends, they have a lot of visitors, but you can find another swimming area downstream. Very cheap and affordable to visit. Refreshingly cold water too. Guaranteed to shock your body if you’re not used to the cold.

a short trek from the jump off point....you'll be walking under a vivid green canopy of trees and other vegetations...when you reach the falls, soak your tired body in the cool water coming from Taytay falls.

First the entrance is only P20, yey amazing.
Then you go down couple of small stairs. Platform going towards the falls has a relaxing vibe , green trees everywhere..it gets crowded coz this the fave place to go if you want to deep and dive in very cold fresh waters. The waters are clear!! And very COLD!
They can even go camping here and cooking under the rocks. And take note they have a life guard reminding to not to over go on danger side.

Notes and reviews:
1. The water here is too cold, too cold even for the cold-resistant.
2. There are too many people on weekends, much more during Holy Week. It's sad that people leave their garbage instead of bringing them back and personally throw at trash cans.
3. There are toilets available but not for the squeamish, with running water of course.
4. You may combine this place with Pagsanjan Falls, Cavinti Underground River and Caves Complex and Panguil River Eco-park for your Laguna tour itinerary.
