Dove monument is a rotunda-round-like serves as an entry to the barangay of purok 2 in New Cabalan.Surrounded with Talipapa,small kiosk,tricycle terminal,7-11,Ang-De,Andoks,Chooks and drug stores,etc..-Its a busy place..under the monument of Big Dove is like a waiting shed for jeepneys/bus commuters and where children can also play and by standers can enjoy the place to rest.

It's the mark place of the said place, therefore those who will come to visit or travel sure not to lose kalapati , cabalan , old and new

A subdivision in Olongapo with very nice and welcoming people.. To borrow McArthur's famous words ... "I shall return".

A landmark of Barangay New Cabalan that also marks 7 kilometers to Olongapo City Proper. New Cabalan is growing in population on this place you can find a small market place but of almost complete basic commodities.

Just dont know the Hostorical background of the Dove Monument. But from what I here stories from WWII veterans this spot has an important role and Strategic location. One of the strongholds for military defense point.

A good landmark that you are almost in central Olongapo city. For me it is as famous as the Lion Head in Baguio because even when I was a kid I always keep a look out of it everytime we pass this place.

Landmark and central hub for New Cabalan area of Olongapo City Philippines. Has shops and street market with fresh fish, meats, fruit and more.

Mr. Kasanobu Miyazaki, a Japanese owner of an accounting firm in Aioi City, Japan, requested that a shrine be built in New Cabalan where his brother, Capt. Masanobu Miyazaki died in battle at the Zig Zag Pass. Mayor Gordon suggested instead a peace monument dedicated to the Filipino, American and Japanese lives that were lost in that battle. The monument was thus built at the junction of the national highway and the road into New Cabalan. It is surmounted by a dove of peace. This monument welcomes travelers who will pass the first barangay of Olongapo City from the province of Bataan.

One the land marks when head to Subic Bay. If you see the big white dove it means youre just a few more minutes away from Olongapo City.

Been here since I was a child. It has memories from my childhood since now. It's a great place.

The place have it's historical events that local govt is still commemorating it nowadays.

Because i went there already and Dove for me is a declaration of the Holy Spirit. So it's like its declaring that God is with us.
