Had the best comforting meal after a long drive! Food was great and the coffee selection was really impressive. They recommended for us to try the Tiramisu Latte and for sure, I’ll come back for it 🥰 Also really love the pastries too esp the canele!

The interior feels like the classic 1970s but with modern furnishings.

I ordered the chicken tocino for breakfast -- sarap!!!

I added the lemon cream cheese -- could use a little more citrus but the pastry is awesome.

For coffee, I had their honey oat latte -- it was good. Malakas yung lasa ng honey kesa espresso.

Graaaaabeee! Sarap dito at dami ng food servings! The drinks aren’t that much sweet so you bet you would finally get a legit drinks this time… Unlike other cafes na di mo na madistinguish ang milk tea sa iced coffee, this cafe surely given justice! All taste are superb! Like the pancakes and dirty horchata and that bacon and those tapas, ay sus pimman! Kayo nalang mg visit, youre missing a great one if you dont drop by…

They have the best croissant ever!!! And their cheese puff!!! 2nd time visiting hometown (first in their old location)

The new location is so pretty and spacious. Feels like you are transported into a 50s diner but still keeping the minimalist theme.

We enjoyed and loved our stay here.

Unfortunately, their matcha latte tasted different from my first visit (matabang sa matcha). But their sea salt latte is good. Also, their ube madeleine is better than the original madeleine.

This will still be our fave spot in SBFZ/Gapo.

Hometown Cafe is a nice cafe situated a bit hidden inside WOW Complex. Food and pastries are nice and niche, and the long black I can taste well the beans.

Design of inside is nicely done, airy, and all minimalist.

I was visiting Olongapo and the first thing I look for when traveling is good coffee. I researched online and found hometown cafe. I walked from the hotel I was staying at and arrived to meet a very kind barista. One reason I originally went was because they had oat milk and alternative milk which had been hard for me to find. I had an awesome conversation with a Barista named Earl who made me an excellent latte. The place is cozy and their pastries are fantastic. I had several pastries during my visit here including Pain au chocolat, Ube Madeleines, and more. If I could bring this place back with me I would. All of the baristas are so kind and the atmosphere I friendly and inclusive. The espresso they use is great and it definitely has that hometown feel. It is located on the side of the building and you should be able to find it as a sign shows you the way. This is definitely a go to if you’re in the area and highly recommend it! They were also kind enough to let me take some photos also.

As I stepped into the cozy warmth of the hometown café, the familiar scent of freshly brewed coffee greeted me like an old friend. The place was alive with the gentle hum of conversation and the soft clinking of cutlery.

I really went here for the specialty coffee and Master Barista Jepoy did not disappoint. The place is so cozy, and I loved the minimalist vibe of the cafe. Pour-over set-up and coffee selection is quite impressive. Will definitely go back here again! I am from Lipa, Batangas, btw. This is how much I enjoyed the place!

Service is top notch, atmosphere is very warm and pleasing and the food is impeccable. For what you're paying for, it is totally worth a visit. From the moment you enter the door, you can tell that the business is taking their thing seriously and holds themselves at a high standard. An overall exquisite experience. Would definitely be visiting again.

As first time visitors of Hometown Cafe, the experience didn't disappoint. Their Mocha Babka was "love at first bite" paired with Iced Spanish Latte. The place has a minimalist and relaxing atmosphere, which I like. We seldom visit Subic, but we'll definitely go back here next time to try the other drinks and pastries.

We discovered about Hometown Café early this year. Since then, my friends and I have been yearning to pay them a visit. And just this weekend, we finally did!!! Travelled from Cavite to Olongapo to have their best-selling items.

• Drinks: We had their horchata in two forms — Iced Dirty Horchata and Horchata Affogato. Their Breakfast Club coffee beans complimented very well on their horchata base. I kid you not when I say that their version is the best one we've had so far out of the many cups we've tried out there!!! The bomb ✨
We got the refreshing Berry Basil Fizz seasonal drink as well. Definitely a must have on sunny days!

• Food: Ube and Matcha madeleines were luscious!!! Flavours were very distinct yet doesn't overpower the sweetness. A must-try!

• Place: Minimalist interior + natural sun-lit area + feel-good playlist + warm conversations with their baristas + a pet-friendly café = a homey, cozy vibe! We even unconsciously stayed there for 4 hours on our second day 🙈

• Overall experience: It was worth the travel! Will certainly come back anytime this year. Looking forward to the store's expansion to accommodate more people 🤗 I am glad to have found a café that I may now call "home away from home" 🤎

Tried Hometown café last year when we attended a wedding. Made sure to come back since we’re in the area again and they really have good coffee. My husband loved their hand brew and I loved their flat white. All drinks were prepared well. Pastries were good also.

Hometown is definitely my go to cafe here in Subic Bay. :) They offer a wide range of coffee drinks and pastries and has a homey-vibes inside the cafe. Sea salt and Honey Oat lattes are my favorites. :)

Great find for coffee in Subic. The cafe is minimalist and airy, and the baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. My partner was asking about their chai latte and they answered exactly what spices they used (they make it themselves). She liked her chai, and I thought my iced latte was well done - they didn't foam the milk like a hot latte and just poured in the espresso shot into a cup of cold milk. Plus points for their pastry selection too - we got a kouign-amann and a babka for the road.
