Definitely place to visit. Very interesting castle ruins, well maintained. The path can be challenging if you have mobility issues as the staircases are quite narrow and steep and there are few places where steps were carved in rock and can be slippery. But if you are ok with that I recommend to climb the tower and enjoy the walk around this piece of history.

If you want the best view from the eagle nests of Jan Kazimierz, then this is here. besides the castle there are very beautiful places nearby. Be sure to walk around the castle and take a walk around the nearby places. It is better to visit for the whole day. There is a cafe near the castle where you can have a lunch .

Ogrodzieniec Castle is a ruined medieval castle in Podzamcze, near Ogrodzieniec, the south-central region of Poland. Part of eagle's nests a really worth to visit. Perfectly marked routes to go around and see everything

Excellent place to visit with family. It's a place for every age group. Kids can enjoy science park, rides, and miniature park. Adults can experience the beauty of medieval castle.

There are lots of souvenir shops from where you can buy beautiful things. You can also enjoy food and ice cream.

5/5 marks for this beautiful place.

Nice place but very touristy. Missing a bit of the exhibition of the past life. It would be perfect to show more daily life of our past. But the awesome remains of a castle

A very cool place for Witcher fans. The battle in the first season was filmed there. A very well preserved ruined medieval castle.

I arrived a bit before 10 on Sunday morning. It was pretty quiet which was nice. The setting is really nice. The nature is just as good as the castle! The castle is huge and the views are amazing. There's tons of stuff to do for kids aside from visiting the castle. And, there are plenty of vendors if you want food/ drinks or souvenirs.

By the time I left it was getting quite busy. If crowds aren't your thing then go early.

It's one of the most impressive ruins sites I've seen, a huge castle, very well preserved with an amazing view of the surrounding area, highly recommended!

A very impressive castle, the cliff formations and monumental architecture are absolutely stunning to behold.

You can pretty much see the whole castle, a path leads through everything though there's quite a bit of climbing up and down.

Renovated and maintained in an interesting, respectful way.

Please please please do stop by here.

Amazing place to spend a time with friends or family. Great nature with authentic places. But in case you want to come inside the castle, you have to buy the tickets in advance, otherwise it'd be not possible to get in.

Castle itself is very impressive. Don't like all the attractions that they put around it though - very commercialized

Beautiful castle and reasonably priced to enter. Wear some good shoes because it is quite steep sometimes and you will need to climb stairs.

There are plenty of food options onsite as well as offsite.

You can park in someone's garden for a small price.

Absolutely breathtaking views. We loved this place. Great place for a family trip. Other than seeing the castle, for the kids, they have a ropes course, bumper cars, and a mountain coaster. We will definitely go back and stay a little longer.

One of the best Castles I’ve ever been to, parking at the bottom cheap around £3 and tickets are cheap for the castle. You can walk around anywhere and it’s a must do if your in Poland 🇵🇱

Ogrodzieniec Castle is a ruined medieval castle in Podzamcze, near Ogrodzieniec.  It is situated on the top of 515.5-metre-high Castle Mountain- the highest hill of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The ruins are open to visitors( adult ticket about 5 eur) and are a part of Trail of the Eagles' Nests, a hiking trail that connects a number of well known castles in the region. We were lucky visitting this castle total alone as it was week day and cold weather.

I visited off season during heavy snow, so all of the usual facilities (food, drink, etc.) were closed, and there was no staff or anyone around, but it was still amazing - especially for all the snow! While not huge, castle Ogrodzieniec is large enough to be interesting and is very well preserved. I recommend it, especially during the nicer parts of the year when they host events. A must-see if you are a fan of the Witcher :)

The majestic-looking ruins of the royal castle in Ogrodzieniec make a great impression.
The view from the castle tower stretches to the horizon and is breathtaking.
It is a pity that the surroundings of the castle, especially the road leading to the gate, are dotted with various booths and stalls that look downright ugly, this is, of course, a subjective observation.
From the practical information: both car parks are paid but relatively cheap, and you can find something to eat in the above-mentioned booths. We had the opportunity to eat waffles (gofry) and they were really fresh and tasty.
