A great experience, and very personable experience with the waiter / owner making excellent recommendations. Recommended 1.5 portion for two of us and added as much extra fish as we wanted. Focus on Alentejo cuisine and wine. Food, service and ambiance make for a memorable experience.

Lovely restaurant. We had bochechas de porco preto com migas and some traditional desert that were delicious. The waiter was fantastic, and is also a singer and sang a bit during dinner. I unfortunately don't remember his name as we had a bit too much to drink. The food was fabulous! We had a great night!

Food is always superb. Their lamb is soft & succulent, black pork is delicious, great veal and if you haven't tried octopus this is the place to as it's really tender, I don't normally like bacalhau but tasted it here and it was really nice! Service is always welcoming and prompt, prices are slightly higher than elsewhere in the village but not expensive & well worth it for the standard of food

I have to say, we had a brilliant experience, I was a bit sceptical after reading some reviews.

The service was outstanding same as the food.
To be honest, I was outside the whole time, I haven’t checked the interior, it’s a great atmosphere.

Great place to find en route between Lagos and Evora. All thanks to Google Maps and Fork. Dio, the proprietor, fiens speaking only a little English. In fact, his English is excellent. As was the food.

Was a great and tasty expirience in the middle of Alentejo. Great food, great staff, it was fast and very well served. I really like the meat. Huge desert.. i recomend everybody to call before you go, we had luck :) thank you

Probably the best place to eat around these parts. Waiter is great suggesting portions, wines and even suggested a board of deserts because we were indecisive about which one.

We got the Polvo à lagareiro, and it's an octopus done the proper way!

Lovely relaxed setting outside. Great lamb, attentive service, reasonable price. Recommended.

Wonderful local specialities from Alentejo. Braised pork cheeks and grilled pork were just perfect.

Classic alentejan and highly refined. Fantastic and really nice staff. Can’t recommend it enough.
