Transylvania Escape

Johanna & Michael are super friendly hosts. The room was very clean and comfortable, full of little details. We enjoyed the chilly, open space living room very much. The internet connection is very good, definitely good enough for remote working. In their backyard, they have a wonderful garden with a big terrace. It's a hidden gem in Richies.

The best stay me and my partner have had so far.

The area is quiet and picturesque, surrounded by the Richiș hills and with easy access to roads that go to Transfăgărășan and to Sighișoara.

The room was superb - it perfectly balances the rustic with the modern: the big, comfortable bed (it even has a canopy!) and wooden theme with a big TV, music system, and fancy lighting. The bathroom was clean and had all the essentials.
There is a lovely relaxation spot outside, complete with cozy chairs, a sofa, a hammock, ambient music and the most loving, talkative cat.

Ioana and Michael are absolutely amazing hosts - we've never felt more welcome in a place. They not only offered us their best (drinks, to help us with the luggage, prepared tea in advance for breakfast, had drinkable water ready in the room, lovely long conversations and many more), but they also made us feel at home.

I 100% recommend booking this - we will certainly return whenever we visit this part of the country again.

I found Michael and Ioanna on the couch surfing app. When Michael accepted my request to stay he called and gave me excellent directions and advice for making my way there.

RIchis is a beautiful village and Michael and Ioanna are very passionate about the community and its history. They were extremely hospitable and we had wonderful discussions, connecting across different cultures and places.

The accommodations were very high quality and comfortable, due to the amount of work they have done. It was the perfect place to relax after weeks of walking.

Michael and Ioanna are very forward thinking and deliberate in matters of health. In addition to their dedication to proper food and bodily care, they are involved in designing and using new medical devices to treat the human body and preserve and advance its ability. They demonstrated their work and allowed me to experience its capabilities. They are very passionate about caring for people.

My time in Romania was made special by the opportunities I had to connect with the country's kind and wonderful people. Michael and Ioanna were foremost amongst them.

A traditional home transformed in a place where you will find the best accommodation in the area.
The place is bot so "commercial" as other guest houses
The rooms are clean and very nice decorated
The garden is a nice place to spend a relaxing day after a hike or a long drive
The host is very nice and willing to give you good advices

We spend a great time with Johanna and Michael our wonderful hosts, the place is amazing, our hostess 🥞 were great and the holiday stories of Michael are so funny !
We can add that the local wine was surprisingly good ( the best compliment you can ever have from 2 french people ) so we took 6 bottles .

a very nice atmosphere. spacious and clean rooms. clean and large toilet. the yard is beautifully arranged and very quiet.

Atît de bine și liniștită m-am simțit în acest loc extraordinar și curat, de nu îmi venea să ies din curte la plecare.. :) Gazda, Michael, o ființă tare faină cu poveşti, umor și sfaturi de scris jos, ne-a făcut să avem impresia că timpul s-a expandat. :) Lăbuță pisica fină și Xena (uneori Dana) cățeluşa scumpă, au completat tabloul rural, perfect. Mulțumim din Herz pentru această experiență de neuitat.

E cam putin doar 5 stele. As fi dat 100 daca ar fi fost posibil. Apartamentul este superb. Extrem de curat si amenajat foarte modern. Imi pare rau ca nu am avut timp pe timpul zilei sa stau mai mult in curtea care edte amenajata foarte frumos si poti avea parte de o relaxare pe cinste. E foarte liniste si aerul foarte curat. Proprietarii foarte ospitalieri, amabili, sociabili. Am povestit cu domnul Michael si nu mi am dat seama cand a trecut o ora. Poti povestii foarte multe lucruri din domenii diferite. Am ramas foarte placut surprinsa de toata experienta avuta. M am simtit de parca eram acasa si povesteam cu o persoana din familie. Recomand cu cea mai mare placere. P. S. Sper sa ne putem revedea si la anul. Va multumesc pt tot. A fost minunat.

Un loc absolut excelent, unde natura te îmbrățișează și te atrage spre libertatea sufletească deplină. Un loc lipsit de complexitatea și stresul cotidian, care te învață ce înseamnă fericirea și indeplinirea sufletului. Lipsit de semnal la telefonie, totuși locația vine la pachet cu un cablu de internet de mare viteză pentru cei ce-și doresc să lucreze. Personalul extrem de prietenos, camerele curate care îmbie tradiționalul cu modernul, iar apartamentul 1 vine echipat cu o sobă pentu a crea o atmosferă caldă în camera. Atenție, odată veniți la locație musai trebuie să vă rezervați cel puțin 2h din zi pentru Lăbuță, o pisică extrem de prietenoasă și de atașată de oaspeți.

Très belle surprise en plein cœur de la Transylvanie. Un accueil très chaleureux de Ioana et Michael, un vrai plaisir de partager avec eux un savoureux diner et petit-déjeuner.
Je ne peux que recommander ce lieu pour le confort, l'hospitalité, la découverte d'une solution naturelle pour aider la récupération du corps et les douleurs chroniques et la richesse de ses hôtes.

O locație foarte frumoasa , de la exterior nu am avut impresia ca o sa rămânem asa plăcut surprinși.
Proprietarii locației sunt foarte amabili, te fac sa te simti ca la tine acasa, daca ai timp poți sta la vorba cu ei cu orele fără sa simti trecerea timpului.
Daca va aflați in zona Biertan, chiar Sighișoara se merita sa faceți un popas la aceasta locație, calitate vs prețul platit - numai lucruri bune de zis.

Eine tolle Pension. Der Inhaber Michel ist richtig Klasse. Wenn ihr in der Ecke seit unbedingt vorbei fahren. Wir waren 5 Nächte dort und haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Und.für Cacher gibts auch was zuholen😉

Nuestra estancia en Transylvania Escape fue maravillosa, sus anfitriones nos trataron de maravilla, seguro que repetiremos!!! La zona es perfecta para poder hacer actividades en la montaña y desconectar del mundo
