Restaurante El Faro del Lago

Had a Good time here. Food was Good and fairly priced for a tourist spot. Service was also good. The place itself is in Great location..

Best place I found to take a boat or ferry ride . The Ferry for Teopan on the other side of the lake is private only, so this was a gem to find. Paid $20 for Rafael to take 3x of us on a private little tour with some cool stories. Didn't get to try the food because they had some big tables they were serving so we went next door and had a good meal. Be back soon to try the food. Excellent music and vibe.

Never disappoints. Our go to spot every time that we go to El Salvador. Great eats with a nice relaxing ferry ride.

The food portions are not that big but the service was great and the views are nice! I would suggest maybe having a more secure fence around the top floor for those families with kids. Overall we liked it, food was delicious. Very friendly people all around. One thing I would like to change is for the restaurant to give the employees the tip that is included in the bill. As tourist when we see tip included we assume it’s given to our servers and it isn’t. To be safe you should personally tip your server as most of them work hard for their earnings and live from the tips. Thanks for the experience El Faro team !

Lovely restaurant. Beautiful views of lake Coatepeque. You can catch the ferry from the restaurant for $5 per person. The ride was about 15-20 min takes you around the lake. You can ride jet ski or dive into the lake. There is a kids' pool, but it did not look well maintained. The restaurant was very busy, and parking was hard to get. It was a very tight squeeze. Please prepare to be patient with parking. The food took a long time to come out, but it was worth the wait!!! The chicken was amazing and the cheese burger was amazing. I would love to return on a day that is not so packed!

Enjoyed the quick acceso to the Lake Tour boat. Took a coffee and Tea out on the boat.

For $5 a person you get a tour on the ferry. Two stores ferry with breakfast service. Recommended for families.
