The Garden Of Joy Resort & Restaurant

Just had a really lovely few days at this family run hotel. Lovely little chalets with a relaxing verandah to chill out in the shade, set in a garden, with a swimming pool by the sea. They are very friendly and do a lovely breakfast with homemade bread and teacakes. Restaurant meals are also delicious and very good quality.

Nice, idyllic and quiet resort on the east coast of Koh Chang, with a beautiful luscious garden. The pool is great, not very big but because of the low season we were almost the only customers. Staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. We booked 5 nights but decided to stay for 3 more days to explore the island a bit more. The restaurant has it's own bakery with very good bread! A very well recommended place to spend a relaxing holiday. If you seek for lots of restaurants and shops and sand beaches on walking distance you probably are better off staying somewhere else. We rented a motorbike and found it easy to go wherever we wanted to go. We are not 'beach-lovers' do we didn't mind to hop on and travel a few kilometers for the more touristic west coast.

We stayed here in March 2017 and had such an amazing, relaxing time. The owners are lovely, chilled and honest, they'll really go out of their way to make sure you have a good time. The grounds are lovely, the private beach is nice and breakfast is basic but delicious. Definitely hire a motorbike to get to Long Beach - you'll most likely not have to share it with anyone else!

Great food. The host and hostess made us feel at home. The grounds are very well kept. It is a real garden, with a nice pool. Bunny rabbits a Billy goat cats and puppies around but not in your face. It's cute to see little kids interacting with the animals.

Wonderful breakfast with homemade bread and jams. Lovely setting on the eastside of Koh Chang with many facilities, bike rental, car rental to explore and easy transport to airport and Bangkok. Owner charming Belgium who is fluent in a few languages fantastic host. Garden of Joy has a good restaurant and shuttle to White Sands

Super location where you can have your peace and quiet. If you are looking for party's... you're in the wrong place.

A beautiful resort on the east coast from Koh Chang on the beach. Good restaurant and for me the best steaks from Koh Chang till now. Supper friendly owners and staff, ask and they help you. Motorbikes for rent for a good price. Looking for rest, away from the busy places …. This is it.

No AC but food was delicious and the owner was friendly. There was a cute dog there too.

Had a drink and a swim. Looks like a great resort on the calm side of the island. Beach is not sandy.
