KC Grande Resort Koh Chang

i think this is the best and fancy hotel in Koh Chang. Location in the center of crowd. easy to go anywhere. many bar and nearby cafe with daily fire dance.

Facility is great (except kid zone that very poor).

Room smell good, bright, new.

Breaskfast buffet is very complete. Love it.

A great stay at KC Grande. We stayed for 6 nights in November and it was a lovely stay. Room was spacious, and surrounded by beautiful maintained gardens.

Breakfast was brilliant, with lots of great choice every day across hot and cold food. Would also highly recommend lunch/dinner here, the Massaman curry was our favourite.

The only downside would be the location, White Sand Beach is very touristy so there are only a few good places to eat around this way, however it is quick and easy to grab a taxi to a different area if the island for more choice.

We got checked-in by Bow in the staff. She made us feel very welcome and ensured the room was as expected.
Bow was also the one from the staff that helped us with information about nearby activities and the one that checked us out.

She was one of few that we could have a good english dialogue with.

We stayed in one of the beach bungalows and it was very nice with just a few meters to the beach. We had our own sunbeds which was nice since all sunbeds at the pool was always taken from early morning.

The breakfast was good but not what you might expect from a five star hotel.
Lunch/dinner was better but took long time to prepare.

Compared to other hotels on koh chang I give the visit 5/5.
Compared to global hotels: 3.5/5

Had a fantastic few days here. The restaurant (and their food) is one of the best resort restaurants we have visited all around Thailand. Incredible breakfast buffet and the dinnera were top notch as well. The service is 5star, and everyone of the staff is very friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Aai (sorry if I got the name wrong) in the pool bar. You are the best! (I will improve my Thai before next time). This hotel is just at the edge of town and not near the backpackers or girlie bars. There are still restaurants and bars but not the wild nightlife outside the hotel. It is definitely 5 star and highly recommended. My apologies to the reception if you read this, I found the keycard in pocket when I got back to Australia.

We had a beach bungalow, very pricey but was the best place I stayed in Thailand so far. Very nice room, jacuzzi, good service, clean, awesome beach, nice pool with bar and service, very good breakfast.

We have been travelling for 3 weeks around Ko Chang and the KC grand Resort is pure paradise, the rooms are comfy the beach is beautifull and the sorounding facilities well maintained and clean.
The new Breakfast Area was the best we had in three weeks and the signature dish (egg benedict) is incredible.
Also The Staff is just amazing, when I had an accident, the Manager Mr Alex was organising a free daily transfer to the Hospital for me and they really checked on me that everything is fine.

Great hotel on one of the greatest Thai islands. Big surprise was a cake for my wife when she had birthday. Hotel noticed that and they brought her birthday cake when singing happy birthday at breakfast. Anyway, great service, maids, hotel always cares if you are satisfied. Three pools to use, one on the rooftop, one on the beach and on the resort floor with a waterfall. There is as well little fitness and a gym where you can practice for example Muay Thai. We enjoyed stay there a lot and we as well returned here from Koh samet, which we did not like. Next time in Thailand we will definitely come back to Koh Chang And KC Grande.

We spent 3 weeks at KC Grande and we had the greatest time there! The location was super with good local restaurants, massage places, and shops around - even next door!

We stayed at the seafront villa (5106) for a week and 2 weeks at the garden view villa (5325). Both felt like home! 

Now the highlight of our stay is THE AMAZING STAFF they have!

Every morning, we were greeted by the sweet smile of Prim and little chat with Ba, aaand it didn’t stop there! EVERY SINGLE one of the staff (from waiters/ waitresses to the big chef and all the food handling staff) was genuinely friendly, super nice and helpful, EVERYDAY - no exception! They definitely made our stay even more enjoyable. We are very grateful to have come across such an awesome team! 

I have to mention that the cleaning ladies of our rooms were also amazing - especially the one that was in charge of our room most of the time - Rodmay(? Not sure if i say it right). She was like the sweet aunt everyone wishes for! 

Every part of the resort was so well taken care of! For example, we saw that the young man that took care of the gym and poolside everyday was diligently making sure that everything is clean and well maintained!

We could go on and on about how wonderful our stay was and mainly due to the great service by seriously everyone at the resort - but that would make this review an essay. 

We would like to say HUGE THANK TO YOU ALL at KC Grande for making our stay unforgettable! We felt sad when we had to leave. We will definitely come back if we ever make our way to Koh Chang again!

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at KC Grande during our getaway to Koh Chang, and while our initial impressions were less than stellar, the exceptional service and dedication of the staff, particularly Alex, transformed our experience into a truly memorable one.

Upon our arrival, we were disheartened by the ongoing constructions at the hotel, disrupting what should have been a serene atmosphere. The absence of soya milk at breakfast, coupled with the overcrowded breakfast area, further added to our initial dissatisfaction.

However, our perception took a 180-degree turn thanks to the outstanding efforts of Alex, the Front Office Manager. Alex went above and beyond to address all our concerns promptly and effectively. He not only relocated us to a room free from construction noise. Meanwhile, the renovations were completed during our stay, eliminating any disturbances.

One of our specific requests was the availability of soya milk at breakfast, and Alex took immediate action to organize this for us. This attention to detail and commitment to fulfilling guest preferences - also big thanks to Ba.

Moreover, the relocation of the breakfast area to a new location made a significant difference. The new space was less crowded, offering a more relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

Having been regular visitors to Koh Chang and staying at a different hotel for many years, our experience at KC Grande has left an indelible mark. The way they handled and resolved the initial hiccups demonstrated a level of dedication and customer service rarely seen.

In conclusion, we highly recommend KC Grande to fellow travelers seeking not just a comfortable stay but an establishment that genuinely cares about its guests. The exemplary service provided by Alex and the entire team turned what could have been a disappointing stay into one we will fondly remember. We look forward to returning to KC Grande on our future visits to Koh Chang.

It's really a great hotel! Located at the most convenient location on White Beach, the hotel is large, and the swimming pool and restaurant are both great. I really like the breakfast here, even if I'm not in peak season, it hasn't been reduced at all! The waiters are very enthusiastic. Despite encountering heavy rain, they still feel very comfortable in the hotel, making it the most worthwhile hotel to stay on Koh Chang！

Perfect hotel, breakfast was huge and very tasty choose.
We got a free upgrade on the villa room close to the beach. The room was perfect with incredible bathroom , really spacious.
The hotel had so many pools with gorgeous view. I high recommend this resort hotel.

Paradise and perfection on this little resort on the south of Thailand. It's the rainy season in October although the weather is warm and humid. Renovations are taking place throughout the complex yet they still manage to serve sumptuous buffet breakfasts that would put many European establishments to shame

Very nice hotel and very nice cool pool. The sea is also on the edge and is very accessible at all times. The breakfast included was very varied and had lots of different dishes to suite any taste you have. It has a lot of restaurants and shops all down the road and has lots of help with excursions. Very modern and clean hotel, couldn’t recommend more. The staff were also very helpful and spoke good English.

I stayed at the kc resort from 17th to 21st. The room is really clean and cozy. Please be careful because the breakfast service is so delicious that you can overeat. All four swimming pools were clean and good for swimming. The staff working at the reception, restaurant, and pool bar are all friendly and friendly. Especially, the staff 'TA' was really kind and friendly. The cafes, restaurants, and pubs on Kohchang Island that she recommended and went with are really delicious and unforgettable memories.
If I come to Kkuchang again, I will definitely stay in KC.

Great hotel with a great location right on the beach. The convenient store 7-11 is next door to the hotel lobby. Breakfast was very good. There are 2 restaurants. Delicious and fresh seafood. Spontaneous show with fire 🔥🔥🔥 on Fri-Sat-Sun night.

We stayed at this hotel on 3 nights with family. The staff was so attentive and friendly. Highly recommended to stay Paradise Beach Villa; only 10 steps to the private beach just from the villa door. You can go to sleep with the sea wave's sound. Very relaxing and peaceful.

The bed and pillows are comfy. The villa is 90% clean (10% for mirror and dust on the corner) The bathroom is very spacious; restroom, shower, jacuzzi and 2 bothroom sinks.

This is the third time I have been there and this stay was the best. From check in with a very friendly lady named Nid, to everywhere I went on the property, I was always greeted by friendly employees. The rooms are very large and well furnished with mine on the Sea View area, that had a jacuzzi. The breakfast buffet is literally huge and excellent. Located in a gigantic tiki style open area, it is right on the beach for a great start to the morning. The pools have a bar right there in the pool and the Spa is A+ as well. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was also next to the beach and had live music and a fire show at dark on the beach right by the restaurant. In my opinions, this is the ideal location on this island for other activities outside of the hotel properties and within walking distance. I will go back again for sure.

Best thing is location and access to beach. Rooms were also very good. Staff super helpful. I needed Halal options in break fast and they provided it. Quite a wide variety of options in break fast. Thoroughly enjoyed break fast by beach.
Surprisingly resort's restaurant was marvellous. I tried somtum salad, sweet and sour fish, noodles. My dining experience was superb. Excellent food, nice evening, dinner on beach side and good ambiance. I would recommend to the potential guests that no need to go anywhere instead try dining in the resort.

This is a lovely hotel in a good location. Agree with the other reviews that a sea view room or pool villa is a must as the rooms on the other side of the road aren’t great. There is renovation going on so they may improve in the future. Breakfast wasn’t great in our opinion. Really struggled with vegetarian options. The food down the beach at 15 Palms is fantastic.
Koh Chang itself is like Koh Samui / Phuket back in the day. Really quiet, no jet skis, nobody hassling you but also no baht buses looking to take you anywhere. This will suit some, but not all. I’d say if you’re a couple seeking peace and you’re happy to rent a scooter to explore it’s perfect. Same if you’re a family with kids under 12. If you’ve got older kids (we have a 12 and 15 year old) it’s a bit quiet but great for re-charging batteries.

The lady on the hotel tour desk Khun Aor was very helpful & honest about things to see & do on the Island .She enhanced our holiday by guiding us .Lots of lovely trips .
