Chang Buri

We slept in a room at the mountain view which was clean and spacious. On the other side of the road you can find another swimming pool with sea view. We enjoyed the happy hour drinks and you can walk into the sea (there is no beach but it’s great for swimming in the ocean) the best part is you can use the sup boards and kayaks for free! We used them multiple times and had the best sunset experience. All the staff is super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was also diverse and tasty. We loved our stay!

Only about 7 km to Pier.
Room with nice sea view and pool with sunset is impressive.
Convenience store is around the hotel.
I love the big trees vibes here.

The whole set up of this property is fantastic. One of the nicest pools ive seen in a long time which is set so you can take in some of the most spectacular sunsets you could ever wish for, there are also an array of sunbeds west facing to enjoy it from too. They offer kayaks and paddle boards as part of the stay which are great to take out. Its a shame its not directly on the beach (starts perhaps 100m to the north) however, this is negligible in comparison to what youre getting. If one day I hopefully return to Ko Chang, I wouldnt look any further than Chang Buri

We got a room on the hillside, not the beach side, we have to cross the street to have breakfast and to enjoy the pool and the beach which was okay. However the beach there is full of rocks and very slippery, it's hard to go swimming in there. We walked to the other beach for dinner and to enjoy the sea. Breakfast is very great!!!, delicious and has many varieties. The staff are so nice too. Though I booked a 5-island snorkeling trip through the resort for 800/person for Thai people and 1000 for foreigner, we ended up joining a large group of tour with only 2 possible snorkeling islands and 2 other just to swim. I felt a bit cheated but it was still a fun trip.

Lovely resort hotel with two locations. Beachfront bungalow rooms at the higher end of the budget, and hillside rooms in a separate building directly across the road. My room is hillside, very comfortable, good size. You can use all pools, including beachfront infinity pool, and breakfast is available on the beach.

This place is very good. The rooms here are much better than in the pictures. I think the hotel hasn't updated the picture for too long. This time I stayed in the Garden pool view room. The hotel is quiet. but the service is very good It has the most beautiful swimming pool. Good bed room I recommend you to stay here. I like this place the best After trying many hotels in Koh Chang🤍

**There are two sides here, hill side and sea side. I recommend you to stay on the seaside, Don't make a mistake. You have to tell the hotel if you want a room on the ground or on building. Because on the sea side zone, there are rooms that are on the building as well. So I recommend to stay in the pool area or room on the ground

Nice place, good rooms, pool bungalow. Nice staff, good breakfast. Lovely pool areas, big pool. Access to the sea via stairs is okay but no beach as such.

Excellent hotel stay… had booked pool suite villa and it was very pleasant stay.. my family had a great time in the island

Beautiful resort,nicely situated along the beach,which partly consists of rocks.The pool is spacious where you can even do some lap swimming. Breakfast was sufficient.All in all i would recommend it.

We stayed here 1 week in 2016 and came back for another week in 2019. We Love This place! It's not directly located at the White beach but you can use the stairs to get into the Sea which is much better for swimmers. We stayed at the Hillside in a very comfortable room with AC and a balcony. The room Was cleaned perfectly every Day! Actually you get 2 Hotels for one: The Hillside has its own Pool and opposite the Street you have access to the infinity Pool with Sea View and a very nice garden area. The sunset can be watched from the wooden Plattform. The Breakfast ist also very good and varies a little bit each Day. We will come back, Thats for Sure :-)

The resort (and particularly pool villas) is something to exceed your very expectations. Super attentive staff, stunning views, tidy (and cleverly designed) cottages, good breakfast - nothing to complain about.

Fantastic and inexpensive. The cascading infinity pool is a best ever for me. Beautiful ocean view and surrounded by a beautiful grove of trees. Wonderful polite service. The shower could be a little cleaner, but I've learned to expect that in Thailand. They would have immediately cleaned it better and with a smile if we had asked. It just wasn't important enough to matter.

I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS RESORT HASN'T GOT BETTER RATE .
It Surelly deserve more stars to it.!
The location is fab ...stuff top class!
The recreation area is beautifully designed.
When staying in the twin hotel(Hillside , across the road ) the only problem.is internet connection, which is not a problem in the beach side.
The location is great for the white sand Beach , near resataurants , shops and night life.
Breakfast is plentfull and the hours are extended to suit early birds or lthe ones that love their morning sleep.
I do recommend Chang Buri Resort & Spa. for a good stay in Lovely Koh Chang .

Fantastic week at Chang Buri Resort & Spa

The sea side buildings are perfect, but the hill side rooms are poor. We booked a room in the hill side, after the first night we moved to a sea side bungalow. It was a smart change.

Great resort, about 10 minutes walk to the white sandy beach. You could also swim to the beach from the hotel. The water wasn't deep, I swam and walked over.

I give it a 5star.. I personally love to stay here.. Its very cheap and classy, me and my friends really love the pool and the swing beside the sea.. It was really refreshing and stress free 😍 the staff are friendly and very helpful also good in English, they will help you about the island... Thank you Koh Chang Hillside for accommodating us.. 🏝❤

Really enjoyed staying here. The pool is very large, I caught a member of staff walking past and ordered a couple of cocktails and sipped away leaning over the infinity pool watching the sunset.

Nice little resort. Suffering from lack of customers like all places on Koh Chang but still providing good service and quality

Fsntastic location and the hotel have one hill- and beach resort. Awsome Pools and they have build an fake beach with sunbeds.

So u have the ocean under you.
