Saffron On The Sea

I had an extremely satisfying experience at the Saffron Resort. Its location is superb—quiet and perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle.

The staff members were remarkably attentive, proficient in English, and exceedingly friendly. From the moment I arrived, I felt instantly comfortable.

The food was outstanding, and enjoying dinner on the terrace while witnessing the breathtaking sunset was truly priceless.

I highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a serene atmosphere and an eye for exquisite details.

The most lovely stay we had so far, in 7 weeks, in Thailand. Beautiful place, amazing people, very kindly stuff, super delicious meals - a place to calm heart and soul. Would love to come back anytime, thanks so much.

I stayed here with my newly Wed wife for our honeymoon. The location is absolutely impeccable, it's quiet, tranquil and tucked away in a back Soi of Koh Chang on the beach front. The setting made it perfect for a romantic get away for two. Not only that the rooms are really cozy and well designed, interior and exterior. The owner is super nice and accommodating as well as his staff, the service was amazing. I was super impressed by the hospitality here.

The food and drinks were amazing, as well as being very reasonably priced.

Overall I'll be back here for sure, I like to try new places but this one has got me hooked.

The Service there is great and you can enjoy the beautiful view in an hammock. The food is above average and so delicious.

I stayed at Saffron with my boyfriend (now ex) last year and it was such a romantic little place. It was very private yet easy to go around. We only went out a little because we were a lazy couple and the place had pretty much everything; great food, calmness, a majestic view of the sea. The service was TOP. Staffs are helpful and attentive. The room was clean and spacey. Plenty of good memories at Saffron. It's perfect for a couple. I'm definitely going to stay at this lovely place again once I can find a new boyfriend.

Best spot on Koh Chang. The owner is the most fun and friendly person. Staff are also friendly, attentive, and helpful. Totally safe, chilled, clean, and just downright beautiful and unpretentious. Food and drinks are top quality. I stayed there and never wanted to go elsewhere for food. You can do kayaking there, or walk a bit to climb some rocks nearby for a fantastic view. All rooms are with seaview.

We were the only customers at the time coz it was raining, but the staff made sure we’re comfortable in every way. The food was good (price is reasonable) and the cocktails taste great! Tried 4 different type of drinks and every single one was delicious. The view was nice too, I could only imagine how beautiful it would be to watch the sunset there. Will consider staying at the resort next time!

Great spot to chill right on a pebble beach. We didn't stay overnight there, but wound up spending the evening and night relaxing on some cushions overlooking the gulf. Good prices. Friendly staff and owner. We'll definitely stop in next time we are on the island.

So many good things to say about Saffron on the Sea. The location, right on the water, slightly elevated over the rocks means you get both the sea breeze and the sound of the waves hitting the rocks, a totally different sound to when they hit sand, and for me, a very reassuring and calming vibe is already created. Add to this a cracking view, good service, lovely design touches and great food. The place is nice and clean. Sea breeze and nice wind. For the food my favourite dish is the Fried Rice Tom Yum with Prawns.The dish is perfect in every way. Also enjoyed the spring rolls as they added something extra to the dipping sauce. We also came for breakfast, the Muesli is simple but lovely - fresh, good quality fruit in a healthy bowl. The Saffron breakfast (their special) is good - deep fried potato nest (rosti potato) with selection of topping - poached egg, vegetables and salmon. All in all it is worth a trip to Saffron, whether for food or a relaxing drink at sunset. They also have rooms but have not yet stayed.

10/10, will definitely come back!!! Very homey and comfy to stay. Resort owner and staff are very friendly and down to earth. The foods are amazing and the view is beautiful. It’s quite a romantic place to stay and dine with your loved ones. The sunset is beautiful!!!! One of the perfect spots in Koh Chang to see it!

Beautiful sunsets, excellent food. We loved it, owner is very charming and also the place is very quiet. We enjoyed it two times during our stay at KC.
