Siam Bay Resort Ko Chang

Perfect for what we were looking for: Chilled, quiet, beautiful sunsets and able to walk out of the bungalow onto the beach and straight for a Morning swim.

Restaurant has standard decent food open all day. Beach bungalows are nice. Rm 111 and 110 seem slightly newer and bigger. Mopeds for hire if needed but you can walk along the beach to Kaibae beach if you don’t mind getting your knees a little wet for 10m or so around the headland.

We spent 5 nights in one of the family bungalows. It was bright, well equipped and nicely cleaned every day. Good prices on the mini bar too. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with lots of options. My kids (7,9) loved the pools. We enjoyed the massages down the beach. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We visited many resorts and this was one of our family favourites.

I come to ko Chang every 2-3 months and this is one of the 2 hotels I stay in. I recommend going for at least deluxe room as they are renovated. Up hill rooms have nicer bathrooms than beach facing and also more privacy since there's a pathway in front of the beach.

Views are awesome. Chill and quiet. Restaursnt on the weaker side. You can rent a kayak and go to nearby island.

It is located down the big hill so it's almost impossible to get out without transport.

Although the entry to the hotel is very steep, you will be greeted by beautiful beaches by your room. You can rent a scooter from the hotel or better, ask them for a better scooter and they will call the rental guy with their pick-up-truck taxi and you can get a better scooter for about a 100 more bhat. I would recommend you to get a good scooter with good breaks if you are planning on renting, especially if you plan to go the southeast part of the island, which is a very hippie vibe in itself.

You can also rent a paddle board or a kayak from the hotel and paddle your way to the island about 15 mins away from the hotel's beach.

Wouldn’t let me hire a kayak in the rain but I will still give 5 stars. The staff were friendly and the rooms well maintained. Bungalow on the beach was well priced for the island (~35AUD) and the resort was private and secluded.

Great experience with beach front bungalow! Comfy bed and pillows, large room and bath. Woke up to see the front beach and ended a day with sunset view. Staying here for a week and it was my wonderful experience. The beach was super beautiful and stunning that you can swam everyday. Someday water level is low you can walked to another island. Clear and clean water!

Service is good, everyone is friendly and welcoming. Clearance in Bungalow is on top, almost every day the staff cleaned and changed towels. Very pleasant to come back at the evening and enter in a clean bungalow. Breakfast is half europinian and half Asian, you can find to eat but each day the same menu. Price for rent a bike or order a taxi is a little bit higher than in a city. No entertainments, it is more quit and family/ romantic vacation on an island. It’s a pity that trash on a beach but it is almost on all Ko chang resorts.
Totally very nice and pleasant experience

Our view from the room was amazing. The pool on the upper deck was super chill. The pool down by the water was usually full of kids. It is a kid, pet and couples friendly resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Definitely an unforgettable experience.The room has an amazing view, the breakfast is excellent and the staff are very friendly and accommodating special mention to the Cambodian boy in bar area.This is a place that I could highly recommend to my friends when they visit Ko Chang.

Beautiful beach, lots of monkeys great swimming but undertow

Very nice middle class resort with absolutely amazing view and private calm beach. Breakfast is good and as well you can order during the day from resort's restaurant which makes good food at normal prices like between 100-200 BHT. Very friendly and attentative staff. Recommended

Beautiful resort, located on the beach. The resort is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Two pools and they overlook the ocean, both are very clean. Most of the villa type rooms have an excellent view of the ocean.
Breakfast could use improvement, especially the coffee and the breakfast drinks.

Siam Bay Resort really beatuful very nice place if you are looking somewhere to relax and heals this is your answer. How joyful and relax you can't imagine I fallen love this place.

Perfect location small bay with a private beach, one of the cleanest on Koh Chang (both water and sand). Attentive staff, clean and cozy bungalows, good facilities.

The location is amazing! Staff are extremely friendly, starts from hotel manager that greet all the guests arriving. The beach was clean and the water was clean. Breakfast is more than you can ask. Best vacation we had in a while. We will definitely come back! P.S. super pet friendly! Ziona (our dog) had a blast!!!

Very nice resort, we had a bungalow 5 meter from the sea. The bungalows could be larger and maintenanted more precisely, but still I loved it there.

If a peaceful luxury resort is what you are looking for, you will definitely get it here. Since this resort has its private bay, you won't see many non-guests walking the private beach! You won't find this quietness on the main beaches (white, lonely, Kai Bae etc.)

This place offers a calm, clean and cozy beach with crystal clear water and even sufficient sun beds in a good condition! We also enjoyed two infinity pools, both facing the ocean, two sways in the ocean, a in house kayak, stand up paddle and scooter rentle service and four massage beds on the beach. It is worth mentioning that the prices for the beach massage is redicilouisly cheap for both thai and oil massage (250 baht / 300) and are one of the best we have had in months!

We had two rooms (4 people), the villa and the beach bungalow. The space and quality of the facilities of the villa are much better but lacks the beach access. We prefered the villa since it is 1/3 cheaper and had one of the infinity pools close by.

The breakfast is amazing! Different and changing dishes such as rice, noodle, meat, soup , toasts, fruits, salad, cornflakes, juice, milk and coffee were more than enough for us to choose from!

The restaurant is also very cheap considering the location the quality offered with food prices ranges from 100 to 350 baht ($3-12).

Last but not least we want to applause the staff, which is very helpful, friendly and speaks a sufficient english to help with the usual needs. The manager himself walks around the area and makes sure all tourists needs are taking care off.

Beautiful resort. The seafront bungalow was fantastic. Great sunset view from the varandah. The room was basic but big with big bed. Friendly staff, great pools, great beach to swim. Very shallow. Good for kids. We were fortunate to have such low tide one day and was able to walk to koh man island which is right in front of the resort. Very rocky so need to wear protective boots. I couldn't find advice on short cuts to Gai bae town area, taxi only. Well, went for a walk along the beach one morning and found that you can walk through Coral resort to get to town. Ha! Most enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again.

Very well-maintained facilities with excellently well-trained nice and friendly staffs with beautifully secreted location, resort itself and comfortable room. Definitely a place to come back. Kudos for the owner/manager for the level of quality they keep with maintenance and staff training.
