Dashir Lodge & Safaris

Darryl and Shirley planned our trip to the last detail - accommodation, safari, transport. Meals at Dashir are home made and delicious. Service is very friendly and efficient. A great place to base your trip to Africa. Would highly recommend.

The service and experience was outstanding from our first inquiries through our stay at the very comfortable Dashir Lodge and the multi-day safari with an excellent guide-driver. They personalize the experience for all their clients. The hosts, Darryl and Shirley, are well organized, personable, thoughtful, creative and passionate about their "family" of staff and the neighboring community that they serve alongside their safari business. They have excellent contacts in the wildlife parks, so our accommodations were varied and high quality.
Dashir was recommended to us by several friends who had been there in the past. We will be recommending Dashir to others.

A very personal and comfortable resort. The food is topnotch and the staff are even better. The rooms are large and very comfortable and the view is spectacular.

Excellent lodge. Delicious food, good accommodations, friendly staff, great private safaris. Darryl and Shirley booked our private Kilimanjaro tour, safari and Zanzibar adventure as well as made us some delicious food and made our African experience special. When we arrived at Dashir they had made a heart out of rose petals on our bed. They made me cake for my birthday and delicious food every day we were there. The village tour they offer is excellent and their company is enjoyable. I recommend them to anyone thinking of visiting Tanzania.
