One Ocean Dive Centre - Matemwe

Thanks to the entire One Ocean Dive Center team, and especially to Chief and Nolwen, two of the center instructors. We had planned 8 dives and all of them have been splendid experiences. The center is welcoming and well organized. The morning pick-up at the hotel is convenient. In a nuthsell, I would definitely recommend One Ocean Dive Center in Matemwe.

Very lovely characteristic dive center doing well organized dive trips to Mnemba Atoll or Dive Courses. The Staff and Dive Guides are all very very friendly and I had a lot of fun diving with them!

The best Dive Center on the island. Snorkeling with neoprene wetsuits like a professional! It was our first snorkel experience and we felt all the time very safe and like vips, when we where locking at the other snorkeling groups, we went to special areas for snorkeling where no other boat was, so spent your money better for a professional tour with One Ocean. Oh and the food on the boat was also very very nice! A small side information for all the beginners out there, shave your beard… it’s more fun.

We had a wonderful experience during our 8 dives with the dive centre. The equipment was in very good condition, the service was great, professional and on time. Ali, our divemaster was knowledgeable, had very good communication skills and made our dives safe and fun. The dives themselves were beautiful, discovering the colorful reefs and marine life of Zanzibar. Would definitely recommend them!

We really enjoyed diving with One Ocean - the staff is super friendly! We booked 5 days with them - just make sure to bring good sunprotection (cap/ lycra shirts) as some od the boats don‘t have a lot of space in the shadow. And also bring along waterproof shoes as you have to walk to the small boat that brings you to the bigger boats. Diving is always in small groups and underwaterworld is beautiful - a special thanks to Cheti, our divemaster! He made our diving experience unforgettable and was also always up for a good laugh ☺ The crew (boat and dive masters) are super experiencend and we always felt very safe! Thanks to the whole team!! We are happy to come back!☺

Super nice Diving School with changing room and a shower. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Did the OWD and AOWD which was fantastic. Especially to work with Nolwenn was such a good experince. The Diving Places were just breath taking. Amazing to start your Diving Journey!

Just finished 4 days of diving with them: great center full of very nice and professional guys.
A lot of divers, but assigned to guides in small groups (in our group we were 3 diving with the guide), so dives were really enjoyable.
Great knowledge of the area, special thanks to Amani for his help, knowledge and professionalism. Asante sana 👏👏

Definitely the dive center to go if planning on going to Zanzibar (and you should, the reef is gorgeous!!)

Really good dive ! I was doing my first dive, and I was diving with Hakan, it was really nice !
You need to come one day to try the pool, and then one other day to do the diving with an instructor. Was really good a first experience, we dived to the turtle récif and we saw so many fishes !

We did the Discover Subadiving and loved it. The instructors was really professional and helpful. We were a bit nervous but got all the support we needed and everything felt really safe.

Can definetly recomend trying scubadiving here if you never tried it, it was a fantasic experience and One Ocean Diving personal is professional and friendly!

What an experience!

Brilliant dive experience! Can't say thank you enough to the staff and our instructor 'cha cha'.

They were extremely helpfull with suggestions and took care of everything.

They arranged transport from our hotel to the dive centre and back.

The dives we did was 45min away by bus and we did 2 dives from the boat before returning.

Some needed snacks were provided on the boat after our first dive.

We have 4 more dives booked before we leave Zanzibar

Very well organized and safe trip! The crew was very kind and helpful! We saw lots of blue ocean animals!

Great set up and plenty of helpful instructors. I took 2 dive package which was a great way to dive the atoll.

Couldn't have wished to do my PADI open water course at a better location. All the staff members are extremely nice and enthusiastic and take the effort to learn your name. They arrange pick up and drop off from your hotel so that you don't have to worry about anything. Loved it!! Thanks guys

Best instructor Dale. Despite the language barrier, he was clear and responsive in answering all our questions. The pool workout was understandable. Ocean dives were stable, safe and fun. Thanks to One Ocean for the best instructors👍👍👍😊

My girlfriend and I took the 3 day Open Water Scuba course. Our instructor Antonio was a fantastic teacher - he is knowledgeable, patient and friendly. The other staff at One Ocean were also great. They were excellent with communication and were helpful and prompt with arranging transportation.

We had an amazing experience! We did 2 scuba dives each. Our instructor Hakan was very friendly and professional. Gave us theoretical and practical training and also important tips before the dives. It was the first time we dived and we felt very safe and also enjoyed a lot the experience.
We fully recommend!!

Rashid was my instructor and he did an amazing job getting me through the dive. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable and made the whole experience so easy! Would warmly recommend!!!

We first met Matilda, she was very nice and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable.
Then we dove with Rishabh who was very patient, professional and gave us lot of information. He made our experience very pleasant and we are very grateful for that.
