The Neptune hotel was great, rooms are clean, the restaurants are great. Don’t forget to tip the staff at the restaurant, bars and activities. This is the best way to get money to the local population.
The beach is great although The Beach Boys are very present but this is the same around the island.
There is a sand band next to the hotel beach which is great for walking and pictures.
While there you can do the Pwani Mchangani visit which is very good.

Amazing hotel with the most amazing staff. Always ready to help. The horse riding was also a magical experience, which I would recommend. Overall the rooms are very nice and staff really care about the guests. Thank you! ❤

The place is amazing. Best place to be while in Zanzibar. The pool is amazing, the rooms are spacious and have working AC. The food and service are top tier. The beach and activities are to die for. I spent 3 days there and will definitely go back.

Neptune Zanzibar is a great resort. My wife and i booked a room and went there for 5 nights from December 18 to 23rd 2023. We had a wonderful time there. It has good amenities including the room, service and overall hospitality was very warm and welcoming.
It has a nice beach and the food is good too, especially the thai and the Italian cuisines.
I look forward to going there again in the future.

Beautiful place. Rooms are cleaned and fumigated every day, the hotel is very well maintained and located in the most beautiful surroundings, staff is very attentive and friendly. Night entertainment is amazing and day activities can also fill up your day, if you wish to do so. I would strongly recommend it.

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Neptune Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The variety and quality of food offered were outstanding, catering to every palate. The amenities and beautifully appointed rooms ensured a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff's attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond truly set this hotel apart. We can't wait to return to this haven of relaxation and hospitality. We did not book this but were transferred here due to some issue, however, we weren't disappointed.

The location was on the beach, food variety was great, nice swimming pool, a few games (pool, foosball, air hockey, darts, and more), books.

The best feature was service, especially around the kitchen, Chef Rana was amazing and accommodating as well as the service staff (shout-out to Omar) made the experience great.

Their acrobatic shows were a pleasant surprise as well as activities (yoga, stretching, water aerobics etc.)

Overall great experience, kudos to the team and management.

The holiday at this resort was absolutely amazing. I honestly didn't have very high expectations, but everything pleasantly surprised us.

The resort itself was absolutely breathtaking, gorgeous. The food was great, always enough choice, we liked everything.

But what I would like to highlight is the staff. They were just amazing. Extremely nice. Probably the nicest of all our holidays around the world.

I would like to thank Hussein and also Jabir. Professional, very nice staff who do their job 100% and give their all. I wish I also had such great employees in my company like these two guys. If a manager is reading this, be really proud of these guys. But not just them, the whole staff. You all do your jobs well.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. I have a feeling that one day when we return to Zanzibar, it will be to this resort again.

Great hotel, very nice and helpful stuff, spacy rooms, exotic scenery, tasty food, sandy beach, very warm ocean, in February almost without any mosquitoes. The little disadvantages are pretty insistent "beach boys" but if you ignoring them, they will leave you, and they are not entering the hotel beach territory, and there aren't so much attractions in the area, the Village of Pwani Mchangani isn't so good for nightwalks.

Amazing hotel, fantastic and very helpfull staff, clean, elegant and cosy rooms, delicious food.

Check in ; Mubarak

Check in process was easy and friendly however could have been little quick considering most guests have travelled many hours to get to the hotel and would appreciate if they can get to the room quickly.

Mubark showed us the room along with his colleagues. They were welcoming. We asked for a cot bed which was not delivered until we followed later in the evening but once reminded it was done quickly

Grace, Mohammed, Omar and many other service staff

All three days we enjoyed pool bar where Narender and his team ensured all guests are looked after and quickly resolved any minor issues we encountered. Kudos to Narender and his team!!

All three days we enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the main buffet restaurant where everything food presentation and quality was impeccable. Both chefs (Ravinder and Rana) were always checking on buffets as well as interacting with guests to ensure everyone was happy and satisfied. Balvant and Mahender were always present on the floor interacting with the guests and leading their staff. Everyone seemed to be very satisfied and enjoying their meals.

Both breakfast and lunch buffet offerings are well rounded and a chef attendant omelette and past stations are well received. All wait staff and chefs at the stations are very accommodating and friendly yet professionals. My only suggestion is to consider changing your silverware (knives especially) as they are quite blunt and at times makes it hard to use for meat dishes.

We dined at the Indian restaurant the first night. Menu is well rounded we good options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Really enjoyed Kharwade Soup and Chilcken malai tikka. Lamb seek kebabs were served cold, perhaps were sitting in the kitchen for a while before getting to our table. Palak paneer was good. Rotis and naans were served hot and were cooked to perfection.

Second night we enjoyed Thai. Tomyam Soup was really good with excellent flavour profile. Yellow curry was not up to the Naptune standards. Even veggies were cooked and could taste coconut milk not cooked enough blend with spices.

Third night we dined at the Italian restaurant. Ministrone soup was very enjoyable and flavourful. Caprese Salad was average and we found the cheese quality wasn’t up to par with other items. Veg lasagna, Spinach Ravioli were quite good. The minute steak was bit overcooked but food overall was good and service was great too.

Other services;

Housekeeping Room attendant was very personable even though she didn’t speak English. We were able to convey our message to her about certain things and she ensured we had everything we needed during our stay.

Kids playground: Khadija at the kids club was so caring and gentle with our twin toddlers. They really enjoyed playing with her and are already missing her. we really appreciate her service

Spa: my wife and I enjoyed couples massage with Wayan & Wayan! They were amazing, we both fell a sleep on the massage table…lol. We enjoyed nice steam room followed by cold shower in the facility.

Shisha: my friend and I decided to enjoy Shisha on the second night. We found Shisha quality under average and service was very slow as well but we didn’t mind as we enjoyed our company and view.

Overall we had very relaxing vacation. All the staff and managers very professional and accommodating. Kudos to Alok, General Manager and his team on job well done! Very nicely run resort property and highly recommended

The hotel is a gigantic marvel. The staff are courteous, and the rooms are beautifully done with a Zanzibari Arabian touch. The buffets are unlike anything you would imagine, one gets lost for choice. Beautiful gardens, powdery white sand at the beach, and the evening shows are very entertaining.

This is the best place with the best service, people, food, everything!
If paradise exists, it's definitely in this spectacular hotel!!! Definitely wanna come back❤
