We had a great time with Mago. He took us to the beautiful beaches in the north of the island where we spent the afternoon until sunset. We booked him for another tour where he took us to a nice organic spice farm and dropped us off in Stone Town. He was very friendly, had lots of stories about the island and was a great driver.

Mago was very helpful in planning and executing our town tour in Zanzibar. He was spot on for the information to be shared and arranged a wonderful guide who was well experienced in explaining the history of Zanzibar. We highly recommend him for planning your trips in Zanzibar.

Mago is a very good guide, friendly, charming, relaxed and very nice person. The blue Safari tour is amazing, we went in a private boat, we visited a lake in a middle of the sea, we went snorkeling with tiger fishes and corals, an unforgettable experience!!! We had many lobster for lunch that were delicious!! Finally we visited a baobab tree and Mago pick you up at your hotel!! What else do you need to enjoy a fantastic day in Zanzibar!!! I highly recommend it!!

I really enjoyed my trip to Zanzibar, thanks to Capo Mago. He was very attentive to our interests and helped us plan our tours at very reasonable prices. He made sure to include tour guides for the whole day on some tours and that allowed my wife and I to learn the rich history of Zanzibar. In addition, he bridged the language gap for us and bargained well on our behalf whenever we made purchases. He knows his way around the island and he is always on time.

We made two tours with Mago, one to Stone Town and another to Mnemba island and we can only say great things about him and his agency. We really recommend him, he organized everything in detail, got us a guide for StoneTown Spanish talking to make it easier for my daughters, took us to Mnemba island with other two very charm sailors that showed us the best areas for snorkeling and cut us amazing fruit as an apetizer in the boat. Another thing that I liked from Mago very much is that he was very honest all the time, his prices where very fair, he organized us everything in a very profesional way and you can tell he is a man of his word.

I was looking for a tour guide / driver for my time in Zanzibar and came across Mago’s lovely website. I messaged him and he was clear with the services he provided. Mago was an amazing guide for our trip. His prices were competitive and we definitely got our moneys worth! He took us to see and swim with the dolphins- the highlight of our trip! We really enjoyed our 7 days with Mago. By far, you'll get the best quality and for the better price you can find in Zanzibar.

He planned everything for us and was with us during all the activites (Not like the others guide) and was waiting for us in the airport with an clean car with an A/C even though the flight arrived earlier than what was planned. The car was cleaned every day.

We did all the activites with Mago and enjoyed every single moment from Nakupenda, Prison Island, Mnemba and cooking with locals.

He also negotiated everything for us : from sim card to fruits to fish.

I spent a lot of time searching for a driver/tour guide in Zanzibar and ultimately settled on Mago after viewing his down-to-earth website. I’m so glad I found him: Mago is knowledgeable, accommodating, relaxed, and always on time. His prices are fair and reasonable, and I felt he was a very safe and efficient driver. Mago helped organize a blue lagoon/ safari blue tour for my husband and me from our hotel in Matemwe - I was keenly aware of the extra effort he put in (in comparison to other guests’s guides) to ensure that we were safe (snorkeling), happy, and well fed throughout the day. I’d also like to note that we requested Mago take us to a Covid testing center the morning of the tour in preparation for an upcoming flight- what we expected to be a 30 minute stop ended up taking 1.5 hours - he was kind not to charge us, simply stating, “Hakuna Matata”. We used Mago’s services for other excursions, including trips to the beach and to the airport. We really enjoyed getting to know him and if we’re lucky to visit Zanzibar again, he’ll be our first point of contact. Many thanks, Mago!!
