The TOP hotel experience I have ever had. You can see the Kilimangiaro if the weather is good and the hotel, even if not easy to reach, is absolutely lovely.
Since we were the only 2 guests that night to eat there for dinner, they organized only for us a candle light dinner and the meal was supreme!!!

Great and safe place to stay. Very friendly people working there. The houses are really nice and comfortabel. The food they serve is home made and tasty. I hope I can be back there someday with my family.

I love this place! After being evacuated from Kilimanjaro due to illness we had a few more days here than we planned for. We quickly emerged ourselves in the art of doing nothing, except for maybe doing a few things very very slowly. Pole pole is Swahili for slow down. Hakuna matata is Swahili for it's cool. We stayed cool and slowed down, and this is the perfect place for relaxation. No TV, no distractions, just enjoying doing nothing.

One of the most hospitable places I have been.
The perfect place to relax after/before climing Kilimanjaro, going on a safari or just reading a book.
The managers, Claudia and Sander are the best.

Clean rooms with large bathrooms and a lovely central lodge with a fireplace. Great views. The food was alright.

Kigongoni Lodge is very peaceful place to stay for those who don't like noise.

Wij zijn hier een aantal dagen verbleven voor een expeditie naar de Kilimanjaro. De kamers zijn erg schoon en het eten is goed en vers. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en de locatie is super. Een aanrader voor iedereen!
