Lovely local restaurant with delicious food at a reasonable price! What more could you ask for? Definitely worth the walk and visit - everyone at Coco Green were great!

Amazing local restaurant! Loved this place! The chef Chabu used to work in a 5* hotel - the food is superb. This is not fine dining so don’t expect that but it’s definitely an authentic local experience. You can buy fresh fish at the local market and they will prepare it for you or you can order anything (e.g. lobster) and they’ll catch it for you and prepare the next day. Don’t miss this place!

We found this place by chance.. at first, not sure what to expect, it's proper local, in a little village just of the Matemwe beach. The food though was exceptional, so good. We had some masala chicken, and red snapper fish, and it was one of the best food in Zanzibar😀 We waited a long time for it to be cooked, but that was because the guys made it fresh from scratch! 😃 So yummy! Highly recommended!😋👏🤜🤛🏿

Don’t let first impressions put you off. If you are looking for an authentic local food experience this is the place to go. Senga and staff are always welcoming and ensure you will have great experience. They are always accommodating customer wishes. You will not taste better food in this area on the island. Everything is freshly prepared and taste fantastic. I highly recommend visiting this local treasure!

I visit Coco Green almost every day during my stay in Matemwe. It is a celebration every single time. The food is fantastic! People are absolutely wonderful! Always attentive always giving that little extra. Preparing any specialty I come up with. I absolutely love this place and don't even think of eating somewhere else.

Went there for dinner, the owner is really nice and friendly. I took fish and rice, it was excellent! I would totally recommend going there if you're in matemwe.

Actually the best place in the whole area. Everything is awesome. Good music. Great price.

This restaurant is very authentic and so tasty for a fair price. Although it’s not directly at the beach you have seaview because it’s built like a rooftop. We had a delicious vegetable curry with rice which was actually not on the menu, but no problem for them to organise and cook freshly. Super friendly service and just a fantastic experience!

Fantastic food made pole pole with love

Very nice local restaurant with great music and ambient. The staff is welcoming and the food is great! There is no vegeterian meals on the menu but they can prepare it for you if you ask for it. Don't miss this place!

This restaurant offers the best local food in Kigomani. It is cosy and nice to sit there. We loved it and we recommend to eat there.
