It is a nice and amazing route where by you can view Kibo peak 5895M asl and also reach to the first peak to erupt at Kilimanjaro National Park which is Shira peak with 3872M asl and erupted 1 million years ago.

The place where climbing to Kili begin. You got the permit here, weighing of luggages and other paper works then opps start climbing

Starting point for Lemosho route to Uhuru peak..
Takes 3 hr drive from Moshi..
Have to spend atleast 2 hrs here before they finish the formalities like registering, checking permits, weighing luggage to be carried by porters etc.. from here u have to drive another 30mins to start to the trekking point to reach the next destination Mti Mkubwa camp which takes another 3 to 4hrs..

Rangers were nice, however cashless payment system doesn't work for some reason, so I paid in cash and didn't get a receipt
