Mozaïk Restaurant Zanzibar

Location: Right in the center of Paje, not far from the beach or bus stop.

Service: Great. Attentive, communicative, and efficient.

Food: I am not extremely big fan of fried cheese rolls in general, but here I got them based on recommendation from the owner - it was excellent! The best! I would love to eat it again!!

Chicken - i would say it tastes like something “made at home”. Nice, not excessive flavours, simple but tasty.

Drinks:
Lime lemonade - I loved it!!
Ayran - good but I would suggest to ask a customer if it should be with ice or without

Atmosphere: Lovely. Peaceful. It is very comfy to sit on the floor, and just chill while eating.

It's absolutely the cutest place in Paje. Unassuming from outside. Walking to the back room is such a sweet surprise, just like cheese rolls with honey. The drinks are unique. I only rated the food 3 stars bc i really only had appetizers, which was good but not an entire meal i could sink my teeth into. Remember to take your shoes off at the door. And relax all you want. This place is inviting and cozy.

Mozaik has been open for a few months but this was my first visit.
It’s a nicely styled restaurant with low tables, cushions for seats and an Arabic theme.
The menu is Turkish cuisine and comes with a pretty good range of mezze and mains. The food was great and the Turkish tea was excellent.
We chilled out there for around 4 hours which is testament to the lovely surroundings and atmosphere.
Will definitely return!

Amazing for an intimate dinner.
The place is very charming with a spacious and cozy circular area where you'll sit on carpet while having a delicious food.
Definitely recommend it !

This is absolutely gorgeous . I had a disappointing dinner in a different restaurant and the design caught my attention. I had a Turkish coffee and Nutella Rolls and they were nicely done . Cool music in the background. Florence was really nice and friendly. Highly recommended 🫶🏽

Absolutely stunning and beautifully decorated Turkish restaurant. The food was super tasty and full of flavor. The juices were fresh and delicious too. Service and welcome by the staff was warm and helpful. Definitely coming back! We were a group of four friends, and all food we had was just great.

An incredible experience in Paje, Turkish decoration and dining room with cushions on the floor. Lovely staff, kind and smiling and the food is very good. Don't hesitate to give it a try!

We had a fantastic meal here. My husband had the saffron chicken and I had the Turkish kofte and to start we shared the mezze platter. The food was delicious, the ambience in the restaurant was great - very relaxed environment heightened by taking off your shoes before you enter the restaurant and sitting on the floor for your meal. The decor is gorgeous and the service was attentive all of which added to a fantastic experience. Definitely would recommend.

We had an excellent time Adam and his team were very hospitable . There was some delay in serving the food but they were always keeping us updated and in the end the food was worth the wait! Everything was delicious and freshly made and we appreciated this very much. The ambience and service was beyond our expectations . Would highly recommend whether you are going alone or in a large group. ~ team Rizwan

The only reason I put 4 stars on the service is because.
The service is very good.
Only a bit slow, but that is something you have to get used to in Zanzibar.
All in all you need to go to this place you won't regret it!!!

Wonderful new restaurant on Paje main road. Turkish decor and cosy atmosphere with rugs and pillows on the floor.
Our food and drinks were delicious!

We had great dinner here. Everything well prepared. The only downside is that half the menu was not available as they ran out of stock. Service kind and efficient. The decoration is beautiful but atmosphere could be improved. They have some board games to play which is fun.

Mozaik is one of our favorite restaurant. The decor is just amazing, a piece of heaven in the middle of Paje. Food is delicious and the owner always making sure that everything is fine for you which is rare in Zanzibar. We will come back again and again, and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful dining experience in Paje.
