I tried watermelon banana smoothie and it was lovely.
There are seats for dining as well as comfy ones to chill while enjoying your drink watching people kite surfing.

Favourite spot in Paje for good food, great service, and an incredible view of the ocean and kite surfers. It’s right on the beach, and they even have tanning beds if you want to catch some sun. Love that they have vegan options - I recommend the vegetable curry and the vegan burger! They also offer big fresh coconuts which are perfect to cool down. Awesome vibe - I highly recommend!

Both the food and the service were excellent. Their smoothie bowls were excellent, especially the Aloha Smoothie bowl. We are especially grateful to our server, Godbless, for the excellent service. He attended to our lunch with great professionalism. Will most certainly return.

We go to brunch weekly with colleagues. We love the vibe here. In addition to the really good food, I must say that all the staff are kind and pleasant especially Cecilia and Hasan. My sister and I love the smoothie bowls there as well. We love the chilled vibe at the beach front of Hellocapitano. It’s a gem.”

Me and my wife ate two times, first time I took their fruit bowl barely finished how big of a portion it was. Staff is really friendly, pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend their burgers (chicken/beef) they are out of this world, mixture of the salads accompanies to an even better taste. If I could give a higher grade than 5 stars I would! Highly recommend for family’s with kids!

This place has a very relaxed chill vibe. Come here if you wanna spend the day enjoying a nice view together with some nice snacks or meals. Menu offers enough variety and great prices. The staff is very friendly. I came here for a couple of days and was served by Julia who made my visits very comfortable. She’s amazingly kind. I will definitely remember this place as one of the places to feel so relaxed when I get back home.

I had one of the most executive and lovely experience at Hello Capitano. The staff are so friendly, great customer service which was amaizing and the enviroment was so nice. I would recommend my friends and family to visit. It was a pleasure indeed.

Likely one of the best places along the Paje beach to have great food, cosy atmosphere and an increadible view. We had lunch there almost every day for a week and be it fruit bowls, juices, pasta or seafood it was always delicious. Friendly and attentive service.

The food was really good and the restaurant is super cute with an amazing view. The staff is super friendly and we all got free cake as dessert.

Very nice food and decent prices. The Sea food soup is delicious and very filling. The sea food platter was also very tasty though a bit more on the pricer side, but definitely worth it for what is included.
The place is right by the ocean side.

Best restaurant in Paje 🫶🏽
It all started when I arrived here and I was starving🤤 I Loved the decor of this place and Its what attracted me to try it out. I didn’t know that the most fresh and mouthwatering food is waiting for me 😋. Trust me listening to the background music while enjoying the fantastic view is impeccable 🤩. It’s also a perfect spot to get some work done with the high speed wifi 👌🏽.
Honestly I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough.
It’s my last day in Paje and I can’t wait to be back here 💞.

Great atmosphere, great staff, and tasty food! Most important in Zanzibar, QUICK service which I highly appreciate it. Love the atmosphere and view too! All and all, 10/10. Make sure to order their octopus curry when you visit, easily one of the bests!

Great spot to get something delicious to eat and drink with an amazing view. The staff is very friendly and the seats are comfortable. My boyfriend and I went here every day for dinner to enjoy and hangout after dinner. We tried the seafood soup (tasted very good with surprisingly a lot of seafood), the tuna panini with fries (had to get it a couple of times cause it was so good) and also the mushroom chicken pasta (the noodles were al dente and the sauce was yummy). I highly recommend trying this place out.

Amazing hotel and restaurant right at the beach . Been recommended by a friend as the best food to eat in Paje and can definitely confirm that. So far the best experience in Zanzibar , for both the hotel and the restaurant.
Must haves - grilled calamari, tuna bowl , and aloha smoothie bowl with their homemade granola and passionfruit.
They keep developing and adding items to the menu so now tuna tartare is available and it’s yum.
The staff is incredible, professional and friendly, making their guests feel welcomed and well taken care of.
The view is breathtaking, especially when the kite pro riders come to play to the water right in front of you )

We absolutely loved every detail. The places, the vibes, the people…it was the perfect getaway! And the cherry on top was the good wind we had for kitesurfing!

A great place to be honest! Makes you feel like you don’t want to go anywhere else and just sit there to absorb all the great vibes. The food is delicious and fresh and they have a great variety to choose from. The view is the best of the best, the blue skies, the crystal waters and the breeze constantly blowing is all you need to have the best memories and a great time. The staff are very friendly and there’s calm island music playing in the background. The place is calm even when it’s full. Located in the Ananda beach hotel in the middle of Paje beach, it’s a great spot to see all the kitesurfers from the Kite n Surf school at the hotel do their tricks and the villagers passing by and sharing stories and selling souvenirs.

This was my first time visiting Zanzibar and ended up spending most of the time at Hello Capitano restaurant. A place with great vibes, great food and a great view on the ocean and the kite surfers! A place with a soul! Highly recommended.
