We truly adored our stay here. From the room to the food to the location, everything was visually pleasing and thoughtfully crafted. We had the room with the private plunge pool and outdoor bath and it was perfectly romantic. There was hot water, decent WiFi, and quality room service each day. We were so sad when we left because we hadn’t had a stay or service like that in all of our travels around the globe in a long time. All in all, this is a one of a kind stay and we absolutely recommend it!

Though it is very expensive it worth every penny. Don't think of it as an hotel, but rather as an experience. You don't get there for a sleepover, you should stay the whole day, take the time to enjoy that special place.
The views are amazing: the rush of the wayer in the falls all around keep changing all the time, one can stare at them for hours. The walk through on the wooden track through the foerst is beautiful and tranquil.
The rooms are huge, good Wifi, wonderful views from the balcony, the bath, both inside the room and out in the balcony watching the falls are good.
The food cooked by a chef and is very tasty. You can get all the drinks you want including alcohol
But it is the service that makes it perfect, never have I enjoyed such a lovely service, everything is done fast and efficient, you hardly notice it, but things happen for your benefit all the time

We stayed here on our honeymoon and had the absolute best time! The view and setting are of course stunning but the staff are also amazing and made our stay very special. Delicious food and wonderful massage next to the rapids too. Richard even took the time to teach us Bao (the game) one evening which was great fun!

When we talk about luxurious accommodations in Uganda, this the place to be. It’s really a relaxing accommodation that is found along the Nile. Enjoy the sounds of rapids from the Kalangala falls with a deep in the swimming pool next to the river Nile. Very relaxing place to stay at.

Stunning setting on a River Nile island by the rapids. Spacious and clean rooms. Excellent and friendly service. Food menu has good choices. Food presentation is good. Food quality is average.

Wow what an amazing place on an island. Very plush. Great views from the room. Big bathroom.
The food is lovely, staff are friendly and hopefully. Water sports available from kayaking to whitewater rafting you cab also do a cycle trip and a trip to the source of the Nile.

It was a beautiful experience. Highly recommended. However, the food was not very nice. I wish they could have more Ugandan food.

The location is awesome ! Stunning! We had a cottage directly at the rapids, and this was amazing. These masses of water flowing by.... The new rooms are really beautiful, huge bedroom with enough space to put your clothes, also the bathroom is great. The terrace to sit on and looking over the Nile Rapids, so beautiful. Nice pool to relax in. If you have full board, you have enough drinks to choose also. The dishes were all very good, try the avocado mango with smoked fish as starter, delicious. The stuff friendly and helpful. Massage is very good. Next time we stay longer, thanks again.

Patrick was so good to us, the forest walks were oooooo.. the food was scrumptious.. but the water falls were so breathtaking. This place should be on all nature lovers bucket lists.. i cant find the words to describe the rooms.. everything was so on point but lunch is $65..

- Not welcoming, no smile, could not stand to welcome me, was rude and very unprofessional. Remained seated on the lobby seats with no care or concern whatsoever while I was in need of wanting to know more a booking am planning to have for my family.

Such behavior will cost the business alot if left untamed.

Just like the name, the sound of the river flowing is insanely beautiful. I can still hear it in my mind. The fish we were served was as fresh as fresh can be, the staff are ready to serve and very friendly. We had a fantastic time. And the swimming pool 👌 our icing on the cake.

Rustic luxury nestled on an island surrounded by some of the Nile Rivers' most wild water. The flair for the exotic and adventure begins with the local canoe that braves you out to the island. You're senses are indulged by the sounds of tropical birds and rushing water, while you relax in a pool, or sun bathe on a deck, or tuck away in the jungle for a breath of nature. The food is world class, and the staff amazing. What a wonderful place.

If you love water rafting along the Nile, this should be your best place. Slow Internet connection. Best guides to help you enjoy your tour experience. Great and spectacular views of the neighboring forest and Hypoxia Rapids along the Nile! The vessels are to standard too and the whole experience is WILD..

What a special place. A truly unique lodge amongst the rapids of the Victoria Nile. Rooms were luxurious and homely, each with their own view onto the meandering rapids - finished to perfection. The central boma is eloquently designed with its famous outlook onto the pool and river.

The food cooked by award winning chefs was absolutely outstanding in both presentation and taste. It shows how much they pride themselves on the cuisine by the quality of the dishes.

Finally the staff were tentative, welcoming and served the hotel proudly.

If your undecided because of the price - it's worth every penny and you won't regret it!

Gorgeous place to stay in every way! Great setting in the middle of the Nile, with a little trip on a boat to the island. Food is excellent, as is the service and the rooms very comfortable - ours looked onto the river and monkeys in the trees. Other wildlife can be seen on a short walk, my wife was shocked as she thought she saw a baby crocodile - it was a monitor lizard, easy mistake. The 'natural pool' was only cleaned late in our stay but made for a relaxing swim. The bath on the balcony is a definite, fun highlight and so I left the place super clean! Pricey, but memorable.

Excellent cottages, magnificent views, and the service is truly commendable. I wish there were African dishes on the menu, but on the whole, an amazing experience
