Itanda Falls

It was such a great experience having gone there. Good views especially the speedy falls from the Nile. We were lucky that the day we went there we happened to find a group doing rafting making it a great feeling for us watching them. They have some good art crafts like the animals such a giraffes, rhinos , elephants, zebras we bought around there at relatively good price😊. I would advise you carry something to eat for yourself coz we were told the place is still under construction after selling it to someone else so for now any sorts of food provisions like fish are out of bounds. Also another thing I would recommend you visit on a sunny day the road leading to the falls is so messy on rainny days

Wonderful, the power of water is incredible. More than 3000 m3 per second. You can do activities like rafting. The best place in my opinion.

Amazing place to visit the place is just beautiful and very relaxing

i am no swimmer but this place gave me the best water experience i have ever had. definitely going back! i did a boat ride and explored one of the islands. i also had a chance to swim on the waterfalls and my guide was kind enough to help me swim on the Nile. downside is accessing the place. it is a very dusty ride all the way from Jinja to Itanda so cover up😄. But all the dust trouble is totally worth it💯

Amazing waterfalls in jinja, it's about 32km from the city of jinja, tarmac road but no jam you can drive it at your own speed depending of your driving skill. In about 45min to 1hr you be to the falls there you meet welcoming guides with cutie small after bargaining at the entrance.

This is the perfect place to camp. The weather isn’t too hot and isn’t too cold. You’d hardly ever need a jacket, even after it rains.

I loved the nature of the falls, nature sounds of the rolling waters, whirling. Drafting experience very nice view.

It so different from the noise streets of Kampala. There are a lot of activities to do including “drowning” 😂😂 please don’t try that one …

Loved seeing and exploring the Rapids and falls,a place for centiries

One of the places that everyone has to go and see. I enjoyed a lot and more than I expected. You pay at entrance 20K per person and can negotiate a bit. There will be tour guide who can give you small tour for 5K. The road took around 45 mins driving from Jinja to arrive to the Itanda falls. Unfortunately, there are not good services nearby like nice restaurants, coffee shops or even markets. so make your plan accordingly.

Beautiful rapids. Well worth the afternoon trip from Jinja. We really enjoyed sitting on the rocks watching the waterfall and the huge rapids for well over an hour.

Place in Uganda that worth visiting!
