Smokin' Crowes BBQ

My husband and I went in last night for some nachos. Not only was the food delicious, but the hostess working was incredibly kind. It was my birthday yesterday and it was going kind of rough. They left a little note on both of our takeout boxes and it was the sweetest ever. That tiny little action brightened my whole night and I really appreciated it. I never caught her name, but I just wanted to thank her. She was working July 27, 2023 between 6pm and 7pm.

Seems like whenever we’re traveling I find the best bbq by accident. The sign caught our attention so we stopped and glad we did. The ribs were cooked perfectly with a dry rub and the 3 sauces they carry were each unique and flavorful. Definitely recommend a stop here especially if you like bbq but they also have a nice selection of burgers and other food.

Very reasonably priced, food is great, and staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend getting the brisket, it had a great peppery taste that I can't stop thinking about.

Everything we ate was delicious! I had fish that was perfectly seasoned and cooked, mac n cheese was soo good and green beans like granny used to make! Brisket was a hit as well. Will be back for sure.

Highly recommended, i drive more than an hour from Louisville just to eat there, me and my wife we love it

Edit 5 yrs ago this place was amazing, I ate there a couple weeks ago and by far the worst food I've ever had from there. The fish tacos didn't have enough fish for 1 taco and there were 3 of them, my onion straws were burnt beyond being able to eat and the pulled pork was cold and barely covered half of the bottom bun. I'm not sure what has happened but I would definitely not recommend as of now. $40 down the drain.

Another delicious meal from Smokin' Crowes BBQ! I had the pulled pork dinner with the Memphis sauce and it was amazing! One thing that we all commented on was the generous size of the portions. We could have easily split my meal or my husband's and had plenty to eat!

Took a motorcycle trip across the river from me to check this place out with my girlfriend. I had the sampler and she had a pulled pork sandwich. I have no complaints with any of it.

Ribs were good especially with the hickory sauces. Brisket is more like a peppercorn beef flavor but good. Pulled pork was juicy and tender. Mac and cheese was pretty good. Fries were great. The baked beans were honestly the star of the show though. Most BBQ places don't get beans right but this place does. Will definitely recommend trying this location out. Worth every dollar spent.

Great value and only a few minutes from Madison. Food(brisket and pulled pork dinners) was good, prices were decent, and service was exceptional. Will definitely consider returning. FYI - closed on Mon and Tues.

Really love the brisket here. So good! The assortment of BBQ sauces add extra fun. I really like the quaint small town feel of this place.

The Sampler was great. Got it to go. Ribs were the best the fries got soggy where they were in the tin tray with the bbq but oddly made them better being in the tray with the meat they absorbed the smoke taste of the meat. Service was great too. Wife said the potato salad was the best too & she doesn't usually like potato salad.

The food was so good! I chose the seafood Cancun and was very pleased. My boys had their pulled pork which they seemed pleased too! My only complaint was that the server mixed up our food a bit, then wasn't the friendliest about fixing the order- BUT, the food was yummy nonetheless :) cute little pit stop restaurant near the lovely Madison.

Rebel burger was fantastic. Pulled pork is great as well. All 3 bbq sauces they make are excellent.

Had heard alot of mixed reviews before going here. But in my opinion it was fantastic. Only down was the pulled pork couldve had a little more smoke.

Best service we've ever experienced. Incredible staff. Very welcoming and helpful. The house sauces are excellent - hard to choose a favorite. Pulled pork is tender and succulent with a perfect hint of smoked flavor. Very worth the trip if you're an hour away or so. Glad we stopped in!

Got the pulled pork dinner with fries and mac and cheese.... and wow! Food was amazing, cooked to perfection, and came quickly. The Lums barbecue sauce is 👌👌👌👌. One of my new favorite BBQ places! Wish I lived closer because I'd frequent this place A LOT! 👏

Delicious food! Always bringing out new items to keep me coming back. The meatloaf is hands down the best I've ever had. You can tell a lot of their food is made in house, always fresh. My kids love the pulled pork sliders/ loaded fries. They served Cuban subs awhile ago for one of their specials. You cannot and will not find authentic Cuban bread anywhere in Indiana but this place. I'm from Tampa, Florida and that's exactly where this special bread was flown in from. If you had a Publix sub, then you know what I'm talking about. Last time I wanted Cuban sub; I had to drive 5 hours to Tennessee to snag me one. Will be back again!!! And cannot wait for their upcoming authentic Gyros special that they're about to bring out!!!

Amazing! Out for a Sunday drive and we stumbled upon this fantastic little place. Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork. The best we've even had. Love the homemade slaw & the mac& cheese. 75 miles from home. Well worth the drive.

Everything was delicious. We got the small family deal with an added half slab of ribs the family meal came with 2 sides. And I only had ate 2 pulled pork sandwiches and the family devoured the rest. I was in shock usuwhen I get a family meal anywhere we have so much left over it feeds the stray animals outside for 2 or 3 days but no one even left a bite behind so everything had to be amazing. Plus I have to day I have tried all thier sauces and I still haven't found one I do not like. 5 stars forsure!! Absolutely delicious 🤤🤤🤤
