The Courtyard Grill

We found this place by accident. It is a little off main street. The inside looks freshly redone. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had the nachos & they were delicious and filling. The chicken strips were good also.

Very pleased with our experience, great friendly staff, appetizers were good and main dish was excellent. Will definitely be coming back!

Just half a block off of all the shops and boutiques this restraunt serves a killer club, the fries are unique, maybe lightly breaded, and good. The meeting is an old bar that's been changed to a restraunt. Over all, a good experience.

I stopped in for the first time shortly after 7:30 p.m. on the coldest night of the year, (27 December 2017). A review I read recommended the spinach salad, and that's what I ordered as well as Cole slaw, once I learned it was homemade.

Both were great calls.

The young waitress, who bears a strong resemblance to the vocalist Gretchen Wilson, was attentive and pleasant.

I look forward to returning during my next visit to Madison.

Wow! Great place! My daughter and I were riding through on our motorcycle and happened upon this place. Glad we found it! The service was great and the food was delicious. My daughter got a baked potato with cheese and it was cheesy! She loved it! Oh, and excellent music selection! 5 stars all the way!!

Clean, friendly, hard working staff. Food was huge portions and tasted homemade. We ordered fish sandwich, tenderloin, cheeseburger, hot dog off kids meal and couple appetizers. It was all so good! This was on a Saturday afternoon when they seemed understaffed. They all was working hard and took good care of each table in a timely manner.

Very friendly staff and helpful. Their fish is the best in town . The side salad I got was bigger than expected and fresh. I got fries with that were so good. They were crisp and not greasy. They have a patio area which I used where you can see the river.

Went there Sunday, 9-2-18, with my son, his wife, 2 of his 3 children, and my son's mom and her husband, after my grandson's soccer game. (He plays for Hanover College.) They were busy but got us seated. Our waitress took great care of us though she was quite busy. The food was good and prices were reasonable. I highly recommend.

Food was terrific, my daughter said it was the best cheeseburger (off the kids menu) she’s ever had. My son actually loves the salad (can’t believe I just typed that). My lasagna was a bit overdone but still very good. Service and atmosphere were great.

This was our last stop out of town after the festival. We were camping at Clifty Falls, and sadly there was no power, no water (main line broke), and a burn ban, meaning no camp fires, plus it was 93 out both days. We just packed it all up and hit this place on the way out. The food was AMAZING! We rolled in around 8, and were quickly seated, and our order taken. The food was exceptionally fast, and HOT! Portions were outstanding. If it weren't 3 hours away, I would be there a lot! Take the family!

Looks like a plain luncheonette but that's where the word "plain" ends. We were visiting friends in Madison and they took us here for lunch. The service is superior, the menu offerings extensive and the food wonderful. I chose the BLT and have not had a better sandwich anywhere ever in my 68 years. We also ordered the fried fish sandwich and that was in my wife's words "phenomenal." This is a must go to restaurant in Madison. It's a family operation and they deserve your business because they do a fine job! And yes you might wait a bit for your food but that's because it is made just for you when you order it. Good food takes time, have patience, it's worth it here.

Went there for lunch on Sunday. The place was busy, but the waitresses were on it! Food was delicious and very large portions - the Courtyard Burger and fries were awesome. We know where to go when we come back to Madison!

One of our favorite restaurants. The prices are reasonable, the portions are huge, the employees have always been very friendly, and to food is amazing!! If you’re in the Madison area, stop by and check it out!

We had BLT w/ awesome fries and the Spinach salad (almonds, cranberries, chicken chunks, feta), all were FANTASTIC. On the server's recommendation, we tried RASPBERRY CHIMICHANGA; they were AMAZING!😀

A five star meal experience, without the five star price. Great food...from their gourmet burgers, to their child's plates... they put it all together and it made for an enjoyable lunch experience.

2 words; steak sandwich. Excellent food, friendly staff. Expect a little wait time for your food as they do prepare fresh. Very clean place too.

Great new hidden gem. This restaurant is small but the taste is big with taste and proportions. We enjoyed wraps, salads, and sandwiches. Can't wait to return.

The food was fantastic. Customer Service was outstanding. Too bad it is a 2 hour drive to eat there.

Good pulled pork sandwich. Spinach salad with chicken that could use a bit more seasoning and a club sandwich that was good. Good service and quick turn around on food prep.

I would come again only problem our 6 top had was after about 8 hours on motorcycle we was thirsty expected our drink orders as we came in. Other than that good service great food fiance and I will be back to visit. Thank you Courtyard grill.
