Hope you're hungry! I was not expecting the amount of food that came out. Nice breakfast , clean atmosphere and friendly staff.

I was having a rough day today, due to driving all night and really hungry. Once I walked in and waited maybe two minutes, Brittany came from behind the door with a big smile. She was patient, even ask another server the best way to ring up my food for the best deal I’m assuming. The fact she asked detailed questions, gave me two different menus, didn’t rush me, and smiled I was already sold on the place. She was on point about the wait time, but to really seal the deal today, my food was hot, fresh, my chicken breast was seasoned just right, the eggs cooked to perfection. This might be small to some but when a truck driver has a rough day, and comes in to great food and service. Let’s just say the rest of the day will be awesome. Thanks so much to Brittany, and whoever the cook was because this put me in a better mood.

We loved it! Our server was very nice she gave us some of the top items on the menu. The food was good the dining area was decent. We would definitely visit again

So, Here I am back again (original post below this one) and I am doubly-satisfied.
I had Rachel. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal (one pound ground with potatoes and gravy, and filling salad and raspberry cheesecake. Yum.)
But to top it off, there was Rachel. Fun personality, attentive to your needs, and just like the rest of the waitstaff I saw, kept a good natured feel about the room.
This place is a nice stop if only for the people here, but the food has always been good and the restaurant clean.
Can't wait to be around this area again...it's like you make a new friend every time through!

Four words. Good food - Great Waitress. (Sam).
When I get the all-you-can-eat bar at a nice location like this Iron Skillett, I am pretty much used to having the waitress check with me twice...once for drinks, once with the check.
Sam was so different. At least 5?times or more she would come by with a "still okay over here?" usually accompanied with additional nice conversation. She didn't have to do that (and most don't). She did it because she obviously cares about her customers.
I very much appreciated making her acquaintance today.

I will add that the store is bright and well lit, the windows were clean, the salad/food bar is kept stocked, and the floors are clean as well.
Traveling the country brings a lot of surprises when trying to sit down for a meal... and I did enjoy this one... but it was Sam that took the experience to a Dining-type level.

Made a quick stop while traveling and we honestly weren't expecting to like this place as much as we did. Our waitress was nice. They just changed their menu and many things were taken off but we ordered the Philly cheese steak and my husband the southwestern chicken sandwich and they were delicious. We left very content.

Omg. The best food this side of Minnesota. Can't say enough. Your cook is beyond amazing. Dont let him get away.

After 14 years. I used to work at the truck stop where this restaurant is located. So after 14 yrs i stop in to visit with former employers and got a free shower ticket for my fill up of gasoline. Then had a good meal in the restaurant, before traveling on my vacation.

Wasn’t expecting such good food! It was very good, all 5 of us loved our plates and even finished our left overs later!

Food here is lovely and the portions are pretty sizeable for the price. The atmosphere is charming, and the servers are friendly. The place as a whole seems very homey and welcoming. Everything is good here.

Have eaten here many times in my travels to Greensburg. Unfortunately due to covid the buffet style they used to have is gone. But they have a fantastic menu. The service was quick and the food was very good. Would recommend in your travels.

I'm giving this interstate restaurant 5-stars because it is surprising good! The servers were extremely nice, the place is clean, and the food was really good!!! I wasn't sure about a truck stop restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised :-)

Food was good, friendly staff, we went around 12:30pm and they weren't to busy at all. They have really good fried fish.

I was really satisfied with this restaurant. They met all my requests, especially I liked the fresh green beans, (unlike most of other places that give you from a can). Grilled blackened salmon was awesome, and clean of grilled debris (which I got a lot of it lately elsewhere).
Service was superb from both girls (sorry, forgot names). Awesome staff!

Surprisingly good. Waitress was very good and attentive.

Small but friendly people and good food

Service is superb!!! She checked back with us often and always had a smile on her face. My husband and I ordered breakfast meals in the afternoon. The food was cooked exactly how we asked and tasted great! Location is great; right off of the interstate. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

Hadn't been in years and years. Decided to go one day and didn't regret it. We now go often and service is always fast. Food is always good. Taste fresh. We will continue to back.
