Happy Tails Park

You can tell a lot about the community from the dog park. The park is well kept, clean there are doggy bags, trash cans, a fountain for people and dogs, obstacle courses for dogs, a cement lap for walking. There is a fairly large parking lot. Outside of the dog park there is a small children's park which is partially fenced in. I got the impression that this is a family oriented area.
The dog park is divided into a large section for large dogs and a small section for small dogs. I snapped a handful of pictures.

This is a sister Park to the Dogwood dog park just north west of here (also, very well-maintained).

Great wide space fenced in park with grass. Please do not come here if your dog(s) are agressive.

Great dog park. Been part of our lives for years. Well maintained and supplied. Good for either walking around a track or letting the dogs wrestle/fetch/run in the middle field.

Very friendly crowd with more than a few regulars. My dog and I always look forward to coming.

Clean, great walking trail for us humans, water fountains for both, agility equipment, benches, easy parking and plenty of bag stations throughout. And there was shaded areas for sogs and humans. It sits around a water tower, which is great use of the land. My pup enjoyed the walk, but there werent a lot of dogs when I went (late afternoon/early evening).

Love it my dog enjoyed running along the fence with the big dogs. Loved that they had place especially for my little yappy chorkie.

Our Cavalier loved running and playing with other dogs. The dog park is very well kept.

This is actually my daughter's one of the Parks favorite she goes to because it is so close to our house.

Though we do not have a dog to bring but she enjoyed it here not only playing but meeting new friends.

I just do not like the available public restrooms because it is just a portable one which is not well-maintained and never use it even one time I really need to go I decided to go back home and had a hard holding on to it. Huhuhu.

Overall it us a nice dog park aside from the restrooms.

Clean dog park with agility course, lots of disposable poop bags to use, and water bowls. The dog water fountain is awesome and they have water fountains for humans too. My dogs love it here!

Great neighborhood dog park. Well done City of LS. The city needs more of these as this one is very popular.

I do hope that animal control and/or police check for proper dog licensing occasionally, as it is a requirement of the park. I'm not sure if this is happening or not.

Fall 23 update, still nice!

This is such a great dog park, you really need to bring your dog here. I'm sure people have had issues with dogs, bottom line, this place has so much open area for your furry friend to roam around. You owe it to yourself to bring your dog here.

As always, clean up after your dog. We all do it, take 15 seconds and handle it. There are bags provided so there is no excuse.

Love it, pet parents are very friendly and maintain visibility of there dogs. There were dogs of all sizes running and playing together, if you have a small dog and need an area for them to enjoy there's one here for you.

Really clean everyone picks up after their dogs so if you leave the paved trail to play with your pup you're not stepping in poop.

This is a very nice dog park with a bit of a crescent shape. It has walking path. The dogs we encountered here were friendly and played well together. Shiva (aka Bob Lazar) got a chace to run, play, and socialize. It was a great experience.

This is a wonderful place to bring your dog(s). The dogs get to enjoy the freedom to run and play with other dogs. Everyone I have met there is friendly and respectful to each other. They do have water fountains and bowls for the dogs to share water. We have found it best to bring a bottle of water or 2 and a collapsible water bowl.

My dogs absolutely love this place. They are little and all the dogs that I have ever encountered at the park were very friendly to my 2 little boys.

This dog park has separate sections for big dogs and little dogs and as well set up with both concrete sidewalks and grassy player is for the pets.

Nice little park to take your dog for off leash walking in the city. There's a smaller area adjacent to the main area meant for small dogs. They even provide little baggies so you can clean up after your dog.

Love this dog park it’s large, tree, bathroom (port-a-potty) things for the dogs to do, and a side walk. There is mud though and also last time I went there was sign warning of someone kidnapping peoples dogs so just be careful.

Love that they roped the muddy parts off. My dogs like it here!

Our dogs love the dog park. There is a reserved area for small dogs, but our small dogs have never experienced any problems with the big dogs in the main area -- all the dogs seem to be on their good behavior. The people are very friendly, and we have had many enjoyable conversations as the dogs run about. There is agility equipment, although some of it is not well configured -- insufficient traction on the ramps, equipment mounted on concrete, etc. But all in all its is an experience we enjoy regularly, and our dogs get excited at the very mention of "dog park."
