Amazing county park. Unlike any government campground I have ever seen. Beautifully manicured park with playground, covered pavilion, and spacious pull through parking spots. Clean bathhouse restrooms that are centrally located. Park police are very visible, and the entrance is attended and gated. Make reservations early because this is a very popular park.

Excellent city campground. Gravel sites . Most with trees. New kids playground equipment. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Huge individual rooms. Water in shower is a single stream but otherwise excellent. 5G cell service with Verizon.

Lovely campground with a nice layout and fantastic mountain bike/ hiking trails. The trail entrance is right behind the dump station. Also has nice clean bathrooms.

Beautiful place, stopped for a night on our way out of town. We will be back. Beautifully maintained and very close to the lake. We stayed in a premiere pull through spot with full hookuos and loved it

Nice shady campground with great hiking trails. Restrooms are the cleanest I've seen at a campground. The hosts maintain them and the grounds well!

This is a very nice park - not very large, but it's clean, well managed, and has some nice views of the lake. Sites range from basic tent to full hookup, and the managers are very helpful (we are novices at the whole RV/trailer scene, and needed all the advice we could get!). Recommended!

Very clean, quiet place. One of my 2 favorite places to camp now.
Camp hosts Dave and Pat and little for baby Annie are great.
Clyde and Anita are awesome people and the second camp hosts.

We stayed 4 nights here during an interminably hot week in Kansas City. While the weather could have been better this was probably our favorite of the 4 campsites we visited during our two week trip. Many of the sites feel huge because they are well spaced apart from each other. Our site (#44) had a huge tree next to it providing shade through mid-day on the fifth wheel and in the evenings we setup chairs on the driver's side to enjoy more shade and warm summer evening breezes.

You will feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere. It is incredibly peaceful and very well kept. Service was friendly from both of the hosts and we experienced plenty of midwest charm and courtesy from everyone we encountered (including the mobile RV tech who happened to be in the park and lent me his multi-meter before taking a look out our fridge for no charge).

But, in spite of the remote and tranquil setting, the campground is incredibly convenient to downtown Kansas City. We took in a Royals game and were back at the campsite in less than 30 minutes. Downtown isn't much further. And the prices are ridiculous thanks to the local taxpayers. Jacomo is a gem, even in 100+ degree temps.

Woke up to a raccoon staring me in the face as I was trying to crawl out of my tent. 10/10 would do it again. Showers had plenty of pressure and hot water. I camped in the middle of the week so my choices were almost unlimited for what I would consider "good spots" and there wasn't anybody playing loud music all night. All around clean campground.

They are so well put together, out of the way, but near enough to everything that if you forgot something you can slip out, buy it, and be back within half an hour. Ample fishing nearby, lake, and a playground for the children. What more could you ask for? Oh, and there are clean bathrooms with showers within walking distance of wherever you choose to set up camp.

Well maintained campground with multiple site levels from tent sites up through full RV services. Some large RV pull-through sites available. Close to Lake Jacomo. Caretaker on site and patrolled by park police. Pets allowed but must be leashed. Firewood available for purchase. Picnic table and fire ring/grill ledge at every site.

Everything was maintained beautifully. Bathrooms and showers are extremely clean. We were able to see wildlife and many stars at night. This really is a wonderful place to camp

Super nice managers helped us pick out a spot and walked us thru the process. Got a Military discount. Saw and doe and 2 fawns while I sat up camp. Very nice private bathrooms too.

Stayed for the weekend. It was nice and well kept. We went on the trails and saw so many deer. Looked over next to me and there was a baby one. Saw some leaches. We enjoyed our time, and plan to return
