I needed a quality, affordable, and professional moving company to relocate my business and all our furniture from Independence to our new office in Blue Springs. Powerhouse Moving was referred to us, and they did not disappoint. The owner, Tom, and his crew came out before the big move-in day and walked our office. I shared some concerns I had with heavier furniture and fragile items. Tom and his crew did a great job putting my worries at ease. On the day of the move, he and his team were early and ready to pack and load. We moved multiple offices that day, and I was concerned with the time it would take to complete a move this big. From start to finish, Tom and his crew had us loaded and unloaded before noon. Ont a single furniture item was damaged, and everything was cared for as if it was his furniture. I recommend these guys for any residential or commercial move you may have coming up. Thanks again, fellas!

I can't say enough about this company. They had our apartment packed and unpacked into our house in less than 2 hours. They were careful and considerate of our belongings and the buildings they were in. They were friendly and professional. Powerhouse is a great name for this company because...wow. They made moving this stuff look easy, and I KNOW some of that stuff was HEAVY. If you need something moved, this is absolutely the company to go with. I am beyond impressed.

I had hired a different company (my mistake) to move us, when the other company showed up two of their guys quit and they took their trucks and drove off. Needing to get moved I called Powerhouse Moving, Tom the owner, was very professional and stepped up to the plate, he asked about the items we were moving and quickly gave me a quote over the phone which was much less than the previous company. Tom had a truck and a team of 4 guys at our house the next morning and was able to get us moved quickly. It was hot that day and several pieces of the heavy furniture was going in the basement which required them to carry it around to the back yard in order to get the furniture in, the guys did this without hesitation. We were asked where we wanted items placed and they put everything where we wanted it and nothing was damaged or scratched. The sight unseen price that Tom quoted never changed. I’m a Realtor in Kansas City and was so impressed with the professionalism, quality of work and, Toms ability to make this last minute move happen that I have since started referring them to all my clients and put PowerHouse Moving on my preferred vendor list. These guys were awesome! Showed up promptly at 7:30, worked efficiently until 5:30 in high heat and humidity. It took two trips to get all of our stuff, but I’m not sure they even took a break. Took tremendous care to avoid damaging the stuff moved and the walls and other surfaces in our new house. Worked through some serious challenges with large pieces without a scratch. Throughout the whole day they were polite, helpful and in good humor. The cost was extremely reasonable. Best moving experience we ever had!

We have used Powerhouse Moving twice and getting ready to use them a third time. They are amazing! They are so easy to work with. You don't have to fill out a huge list of what you want moved. They were very careful with our items. They are both professional and fun to work with. I would not hesitate to hire them again and again.

Powerhouse moving was a great experience. Showed up on time. I had bought a brand new set of furniture for my bedroom it was moved without a scratch. Had a German grand player piano moved without any trouble or damage. These guys were great and friendly the whole time. You could tell that they were experienced and professional thank you!

I was so pleased with Powerhouse. I called Tom last minute and picked a day that everyone was moving. Even though they were booked, he made a way since that was the only day I could move. Larry, Zach, and Chris were great. They had a system down for sure. Larry took down beds and unstacked my washer dryer, while the other 2 loaded the truck. They worked hard and didn't stop. They put beds back together in the appropriate rooms and stacked washer dryer back up. They were kind and friendly. They weren't negative or complaining about the work. They had great attitudes. They were patient with me while I tried to figure out where things went. Even when I messed up and they had to remove a few things. I would recommend Powerhouse to anyone.

The guys showed up on time. Very courteous and helpful. Tom the owner had given me tips over the phone days before the move to help insure the move went quickly and smoothly. I had a four story home full of my things, including outside and out buildings. They were done in 5 hours! They took apart my appilances to fit into my new smaller home and put them back together perfectly. Very pleased and well worth the money!

This company is the best!! Class act operation. A+++ We had scheduled a different company to move us and they didn't show up. I called Tom at Powerhouse Moving on a Friday afternoon and explained the situation he quickly got us on the schedule for the next morning at 7:30am. The guys called at 7am to confirm and were there on time. The three guys that were there were extremely polite and made sure they moved everything with care. They worked hard and efficient and made sure that they asked where everything went as they unloaded at the new place. I learned my lesson by first choosing one of the "big" named moving companies. Make sure you choose a local company!! I highly recommend Powerhouse Moving. Thank you Tom for getting us fit into your schedule at the last minute.

We used Powerhouse Moving to unload furniture and move boxes into our daughter and son-in-laws new home. The crew arrived and got right to work and never stopped until the job was completed. We couldn't have been happier! Tom was so accommodating and even let them move up a day due to possible rain forecasted for the following morning. We would absolutely recommend and use Powerhouse moving again!

Top notch!!! We had Sean, Sean and Dillon move us and they were by far the best movers that I've ever dealt with. They were very professional, fast and courteous. Moved our office in 3 hours from Lenexa to Grain Valley. Absolutely recommend them and will use them for our next move. Thanks so much!!!
