We lived there for five years. The office staff was very impersonal. As a result, they were difficult to deal with. We had several issues with them in the time we were there.
However, the biggest problems we had with them were when we were moving out. We changed the blinds that we knew needed to be changed. Then during the final walkthrough, they told us that we needed to change the blinds that were dirty as well. They even made us change one set that had a flower pattern on it. We told them that we didn't put that set in, it was there when we moved in. They told us that we had to do it anyway or pay them $30 to do it. I was not happy.
They get away with this because they dont do the final final inspection themselves. They hire another company to do that. So, when you don't agree, they tell you that they aren't the ones who decide that. It's the company they hire.
We know others who live, and have lived there. Everyone we know who lives there dislikes the way it is managed.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would instead refer anyone who is looking to Sunnyside Gardens around the corner. They were amazing people. They treat people like people. That is a foreign concept to the Village at Adam's Dairy management.
