I am very impressed with how they treated my horse and I. Without being a client yet, I called yesterday with concerns about my horse. I was able to speak to Dr. Baker and listened, gave great advice, and answered all of my questions. Today, Dr. Layne performed a last minute barn visit for me. She was extremely kind and gentle in handling my horse, very thorough, and answered all of my questions. The office staff was also great, and very patient with me!

When my bonus daughter was visiting her dog Baxter had an accident and passed. They were SO professional and kind helping with him and showed a very caring manner in letting her say her final goodbye to him! Would HIGHLY recommend them for any pet needs!!!

Amazing customer service. I’m visiting family and my senior pup had an accident and unexpectedly passed away. Although I’m not a client they were very kind during an extremely difficult time and I’ll always be grateful for that.

We absolutely love all the Dr’s here. We have taken a few fur babies here and they have always treated us and our fur babies great. We moved out of the area and tried another place closer to home. That was a huge mistake. We are back where we know they will treat us great and our fur babies will get the best care.

We are so thankful for Dr. Patterson! 4 years ago our sweet Shih Tzu Pearl had an incident where her eye was popped out of socket at a groomer in the town I work in. I immediately, rushed her to an animal ophthalmologist that told me they could absolutely save her eye. Thousands of dollars spent FOUR YEARS and countless infections later I finally was lucky enough to run in to Dr. Patterson which told me he was happy to take a look. I’m thrilled to report that Dr. Patterson has successfully done a difficult surgery, success rate was very questionable. The ophthalmologist never mentioned this, we expected her to lose her eye! Pearl Girl not only has no infection she appears to be able to see out some out of that eye🤍 Our sweet Pearl, whom I thought was getting old and grouchy, has actually just been in terrible pain and is back to our sweet girl again!!! Thank you so much, Dr Patterson.

If nothing else, I trust my dogs opinion on vets. He does not try to run or hide from his vet like he used to when we went to the harrisonville vet. Now walks right up to them and want to be pet. He also does not whine when I leave him there. As long as my dog likes them we will keep going back.

Started going here during Covid when our regular vet wasn’t open. And we stayed here. They have been great for us. I wish they took emergencies again though. Other then that they are awesome and get us in on a moments notice or the next day. Always very friendly!

I love this vet clinic! I have used them for 4 of my dogs over a 20+ year span. I have driven from Lenexa and Lee’s Summit because of their caring attitude and reasonable prices. They’ve taken care of my dog’s broken leg, illnesses, and well dog visits. When I had to put a pet to sleep, they were so compassionate and understanding. They even have a special room, decorated like a home, to say goodbye. Thank you Pleasant Hill Animal Hospital!

We will never go anywhere else. These ladies saved our dog when no one else would make time for him. He had severely injured his paw and was becoming very sick. I was desperate and they helped me. They have been nothing but kind, professional and helpful. They are always so busy but treat everyone with kindness and respect no matter how full their lobby gets. I am just so thankful for them and can't say enough positive things about this office.

I have had the hard experience of having to choose to euthanize and pet of 19 years, and a baby farm pet in the course of a week as well as a routine appointment too. I feel like veterinary care is best seen in difficult times, and all the doctors I've worked with this week, have offered deep humanity and professionalism to me and my family. Thank you for treating me as a fellow human, and not bombarding me with "did you make a proper appointment during an emergency" type red tape. You were the humans both me, and my animals needed.

They are very helpful, my dog was injured over the weekend, they took him right in without an appointment. He's doing fine now!

Dr. Baker is so knowledgeable, kind and devoted to his profession you never leave a visit wondering if you and your pet were receiving the best possible care. He had cared for our horse and now our dog in a manner that we are certain he would care for his own.

They were very efficient, and caring. This was my 1st time there, and i couldn't be more impressed. They made the time to see my dog. The nurses were very kind. The Dr was very informative and explained everything to me. Let me know exactly what to do. Compared to other vets in my area DEFIANTLY worth the trip. It wasn't very expensive, they didn't try to add extra charges either!

Dexter, Liam, Gene- and I can’t thank the wonderful staff and Doctors enough! The girls at the front are so sweet and welcoming! We are new to the area, and P.Hill was our first choice. We had dental done for one of our pups, nail trimmings and annual vaccines done and they did such a great job! Dog Mom is so blessed and grateful!

Great place!! I brought my two new puppies there for all of there puppies shots, great deal for all the shots. And then a few days ago my 11 year old cat who has never went one day unhealthy came down with a bad abscess and today they stitched him placed a tube and gave him antibiotics, the great service I received today was by far the best I’ve received from a vet in quite some time. Will continue to be a return costumer for years to come.

I recently took my senior dog here. They was wonderful. Very kind, courteous, concerned, and very helpful. Services was very reasonable also. I was very impressed during my visit. The vet was very informative and answered any questions I had or concerns. Very pleased with them.

This is the only place I would take my dogs, Dr. Patterson is a very caring, genuine person who cares about your pet, he will take the extra time to make you feel comfortable. He saved my dogs life from a heat stroke that a lot of vets would not have attempted. He is a miracle worker in my eyes. My wife takes her horse to Dr. Baker and feels the same way. Great small town atmosphere of caring people.

The people here are fantastic. I’ve brought two pets in for emergencies and they were great both times. And their prices were more than fair. Love this place.

I love this clinic and the vets and staff that make it all work. Dr. Patterson has been a literal lifesaver for a number of my dogs. I took my 16 y.o. dachshund cross in as he was very sick. Willie was bleeding internally and I thought euthanasia would be our only option. But Willie came home with me and, 4 days later, he was feeling great. Thank you Dr. Patterson.
I also like the fact that the vets alternate being on call, and open the clinic to treat your animal after hours.

We had to put our min-pin down due to a serious injury unexpectedly and the vet Dr. Grant Wilburn but was scheduled for another call but since we were comfortable and our baby was comfortable with him, he stayed with us and treated but us and our baby with respect. I will definately recommend him and this facility to others. We will always be forever grateful. Thank you Pleasant Hill Animal Clinic!
