Stopped in on our way from KC. The smells that hit you at the door instantly make ur mouth water. Glad we stopped in!

I stopped by Padoolers this afternoon to see if this place was as good as the reviews indicated. I was not disappointed. I had the brisket sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm generally one that likes his brisket sliced on the thin side. The reason for this is that slicing thin can be insurance that the brisket is edible even if it's a little tough. No worries about that here. The brisket was sliced thicker than I normally prefer, but it made no difference because it was literally fork-tender. It made a great sandwich. The flavor was wonderful. I'm anxious to come back and try the ribs and pulled pork.

Spectacular BBQ! I don't consider myself very experienced in the craft, but my mom is and says the beans here rival some of the best she's had. The meat was smoked so well as to have that red color throughout the strip while still maintaining it's moisture. The buns were soft but not soggy, the sauce was fantastic, bravo Paul and family :D

This place was delicious! We didn't like the coleslaw 🤷‍♀ but that is an individual opinion. I only mention it because if you are looking for bland regular coleslaw like KFC, you won't get that here. He makes it himself and it is flavorful and gourmet 🙃 I feel like there were onions in it and I don't do onions.
Most people would love it. I loved the beans and meat! We will order again!

The BEST brisket I have ever had! The most tender and I had half of it without sauce because the most was so good. And after 25 years in Texas and 35 years in Kansas City, I have had a LOT of BBQ. If you are in the KC metro and looking for great BBQ, it's worth the drive.

Best shaved ice I've ever had. Great flavors to choose from. Doesn't have that fake flavor taste. Definitely going back. The BBQ was great to for a great price. Worth the drive even if you dont live in Peculiar.

Small place, great food, nice people
The King Padooler sandwich was really good. 3 meats, BBQ sauce and shredded cheddar cheese. Had the right amount of smoke where it tastes great but you don't spend the rest of the day with indigestion.

The BEST BBQ brisket I have ever had. Melt in your mouth tender. I ordered online for carryout, it was simple and ready when I got there. Very friendly service also. So excited to have something like this in Peculiar.

I know they're popular for the pulled pork and brisket, but I need to praise the smoked ham. It's sliced kinda thin and will make terrific sandwiches. I'll be getting more to put on homemade pizza. Smoky, juicy, hammy perfection. Got the brisket and beans for my hubby and this native Texan approves!

Would add more stars if I could. They are amazing. Good food good people and if you have an issue with allergies they are more than willing to help. They took necessary steps to reduce cross contamination for me and I'm so grateful for that l. Thank you all and we will be returning.

We had Padooler's cater my parents vow renewal on the 16th and they were amazing! Not only did they make it a painless process but that was hands down the best brisket I have EVER had! I will be using thema lot!

If you want good food, good people, and a great price call them!

Every time I go I have the ultimate brisket nachos with smoked salsa which is amazing.

Fantastic BBQ! I had The King Padooler which was phenomenal! The coleslaw and bbq beans were packed with flavor and the cheesy corn is addicting. Highly recommend Padoolers!

Second time I've been and will gladly return. The meats are well smoked and flavorful, the Padoodler sandwich and brisket sandwich are fantastic and some pulled pork nachos on the side. 👌🏼

Today was our first time to order pulled pork sandwiches from Padoolers' Place. They were excellent! Great value and price. We will definitely go back!
