Beautifully set in a wooded area with picnic tables, 2bbq pits, a trail rest rooms and water fountain.

This is a wonderful little park. There are some trails that you can follow that are less than a mile long. Which is great for little kiddos.

beautiful trails through the the woods, pavilions, one newly renovated. there are wildflowers and gardens on the north side by the school

Lovely residential park. We stopped last week on a visit to Columbia for a brisk mid-day walk to stretch our legs. Walking the entire block was a mile and the terrain provides a couple of good inclines. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a clean port-a-potty in the east side parking lot & shelter.

Nice new shelter in progress. Short hiking trails in residential area. Lots of wildflowers. Identifying markers near trees on trail. Flush toilets. We walked from County House trail under Stadium and north on College Park to get to the park. Did some litter pick up near older shelter.

My grandfather was born in Columbia and belonged to Kiwanis for 50 years. My mother went to Russell and was born the year it was opened. she now works there, we take daily walks through Kiwanis. It's now become like family; as much as nature can:-)

Great little park, tucked away, behind a school in a good neighborhood, good trails, lots of nature, in a city park setting.

I spent a lot of time here as a child in the 1970's and still enjoy visiting. A slice of the wilderness in the city, very nice.
