University of Missouri Libraries, Ellis Library

Ellis library is the main library on the MU campus, and it offers a variety of resources and services for students, faculty, and staff. I have been using Ellis library for several years, and I am always impressed by its collections, facilities, and staff.

Ellis library has the principal resources for research in the humanities, the social sciences, and the basic sciences. It also has special collections and archives, digital collections, and government documents. The library provides access to thousands of databases, journals, books, and other materials, both online and in print. I can always find what I need for my assignments and projects, and if I need something that is not available, I can request it through interlibrary loan.

Ellis library also has a great environment for studying and learning. It has various study spaces, such as group study rooms, quiet zones, and individual carrels. It also has computers, printers, scanners, and other equipment that I can use for free or for a small fee. The library is open for long hours, and it requires MU ID after 10 pm for security reasons. The library is also located in a convenient spot on campus, between Memorial Union and Jesse Hall.

One of the best things about Ellis library is its staff. They are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They offer instructional services, course guides, and research assistance. They also organize events and exhibits that showcase the library’s collections and services. They are always willing to answer my questions and help me with any issues I have. They make me feel welcome and supported at the library.

Ellis library is more than just a library. It is a place where I can discover, create, and share knowledge. It is a place where I can grow as a student and a scholar. It is a place where I can connect with the Mizzou community and the world. I highly recommend Ellis library to anyone who is looking for a positive and productive library experience.
