Loved the beef noodle soup, get the large it’s about a dollar more. The matcha cake was good, I would try something different next time.

The strawberry Black Forest and the green tea with red bean cream were the slices tried.

The green tea was delightful. You could taste the green tea without it being overpowered, same with the red bean cream.

The strawberry Black Forest was good, but not enough flavor of strawberries. It needed slices in the layers.

Overall, I would come back to try more cakes.

The large beef noodle with the soy egg was delicious and big enough for two. Rich broth cradles hearty noodles, silky beef, and bright greens. Very flavorful. Jasmine tea with boba jelly had a grand bouquet of jasmine flavor. It has an intense perfume essence that I found delightful, however it was far too sweet. The egg custard tart sports the most flaky layers I’ve ever seen in a lard crust, magical. The custard itself was silky in texture, lightly vanilla scented, perfectly sweet and evenly baked. The coconut macaroons (some call these candies, “haystacks”) look, smell, feel, and taste EXACTLY like the ones my southern Alabama Grammy made for Easter every year. I bought TEN of them. Don’t judge me. Finally the Japanese soufflé cheesecake could be a little lighter, however; the lightly sweetened, neutral flavor of the cheese seems to beg for a coulis or fresh fruit. I still bought another piece to take home, don’t get it twisted. I have some homemade berry preserves that need a mate. Finally, I purchased the Lemon cake for my daughter. It is a beautiful and perfectly proportioned lemon layer cake. I hope she lets me taste it…

The best little bakery in Columbia. I love the Hello Kitty macarons. They were out last time, but oh well. The pistachio and lavender are really good too. Also, boba!

I had the black forest cake, the red velvet cheesecake brownie dish, and the red chili oil noodles. The black forest cake was so delicious and I'm not one for sweet delicates ordinarily. The brownie dish was a bit on the sweet side, but that is to be expected. The red chili oil noodles were very good and the portion size for the price was fair.

Delicious! We love the red bean buns and macarons. And the owners are so nice every time we go. I've had a different type of cake almost every time we've gone and each one is delicious in its own way. My husband is a big fan of the green tea red bean chiffon cake.

This is without a doubt one of the best bakeries I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The sugar cookies are one of my favorites (come on, they're a classic) and the chocolate mousse ganache is heavenly. Also, an unexpectedly delicious treat are the lemon bars. I could eat a few dozen of them in one sitting. The service is fantastic and the people are very friendly. The only negative thing I have to say about this place is that there never seem to be enough cookies or lemon bars!

My favorite if not only bakery to visit in town. Their cakes are tasty, flavorful with the right balance of sweetness. We come back for the same cakes all the time.

Great place to try Asian (Taiwanese) taste. It is owned by a Taiwanese who is very friendly and kind too! Delicious cheese cakes! Taiwanese bakeries are pretty good. I lived in Taiwan and I can confirm it. Here you can find the famous Taiwanese milk tea and bubble tea (several different flavors) too. I’d recommend starting with Taro milk tea though. Taro is a plant that they make several things out of it. One of them is Taro milk tea. You have to visit this place. I highly recommend it.

It's a cute little shop off on the side of Downtown Columbia that can be easy to miss, but is 100 percent worth stopping by. Their desserts are absolutely amazing and will definitely satisfy your sugar cravings! I particularly love their cheesecakes and both their traditional and green tea variations of tiramisu (or, as they call it, Tira-Mizzou), and, strangely enough, they have a fantastic beef noodle soup. Their customer service can be a bit inconsistent, especially because the owners occasionally have difficulty understanding the orders (but if you bring along a Mandarin speaker you'll be completely fine), but their desserts are delightful. I highly recommend giving U Knead Sweets a shot.

A very cute business with killer desserts. Their soufflé cheesecake is a must try along with the macarons. It is a must visit if you are a dessert lover. Great service as well

New owners, but the baked goods are great. Soups are delicious as well. Worth going for just the soup, but you should get a piece of cake for dessert.
