Hotel At Old Town

My wife and I stayed here for an in-town "date/vacation" night without our kids. The atmosphere is so cool! It gives the old-time vibes in the elevator (especially the great music!) and architecture, while giving a great comfortable and updated feel with their remodeled lobby and guest rooms. The staff is very friendly, and the furniture and beds are comfortable. The one-bedroom suite is a great place to spend a night, or several!

I had to drive to Wichita Kansas to take my daughter and to have some surgery done. I decided to stay at the hotel at Old Town and was glad that I did. It's a beautiful hotel inside and the service was great as well as the breakfast buffet that I had the following morning. My room was basically a small suite with a regular refrigerator, small stove, with microwave included dishes, pots and pans and everything that you would require if you wanted to do your own cooking inside. It really made you feel at home. They have guest parking next door in a parking garage so my vehicle was protected from the weather. The picture that I have included is from the balcony of my hotel room looking down to the atrium of the hotel. I would definitely recommend using this hotel. It is located in the middle of Old Town where there's a lot of restaurants and bars and stores for your enjoyment while you're down there. One side note is that the third and fourth levels are being redecorated at the current time but should be finished fairly quickly.
The fourth floor still has the workout room and laundry which are available for customers to use if so desired.
I highly recommend the Hotel at Old Town.

Loved this hotel!!! Our suite was superclean, well stocked, had a great view, a two person jacuzzi and a comfortable bed. We will be returning again for sure!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a parking garage and it is within walking distance of many great restaurants and places to see!

Very large rooms, ours had to queen beds, refrigerator and microwave. You park in the free parking garage to north of hotel. So much cool history with pictures in hallway.

You can walk to several eating and drinking establishments. On Saturday there is a large farmers market across the street, during season.

Will come back again, there is a breakfast available for 14.95, we opted for the Eggcetra just up the block instead of hotel food.

Live jazz on Saturday night. Cozy intimate setting. Bartender is excellent, fast and knowledgeable. Highly recommend to start off a date night (jazz ends at 9). Right in the heart of old Town so you can walk to your next spot. Plenty of parking. Liked the place so much I booked a room for my in laws over Christmas. Prices on the rooms are excellent as well!

Beautiful Hotel BUT unfortunately they are under Remodeling and the Renovation crew has been very irresponsible and they dump the trash in the drain system and is causing plumbing problems in the rooms also the smell of the paint is Overwhelming in the rooms when you’re trying to sleep ….. Other than that the 117 Year Old Historic Hotel is Spectacular and the Crew is Way Up and Beyond any Expectations from Any 5 star hotel 👍☕😎 Location is among the Homeless which makes it interesting and a little scary at night 😱

So if you want a trendy and classy place to stay this is the place. Forget all the main hotels. This is right in the middle of old Town. So there are a million things to do. And the prices for rooms are not expensive for the quality you get. I would pay double and still be satisfied. Ive stayed 4 times now and it was always good.

My husband and I travel with the railroad, I’ve seen my fair share of hotels. This hands down was the BEST experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious, their beautiful view of the downtown, restaurants close. We will definitely be staying again

Wonderful stay. Beautiful, historical building. Apperantly, it's 116 years old. Clean spacious rooms with a kitchenette. They have awesome soap bars 😁 the staff is very friendly and helpful, from reception to housekeeping. Beautifully decorated lobby with nightly live music, an indoor decorative pool. Excellent location, walking distance to a ton of bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Wow! This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in years. Super clean, beautiful decor and history, free parking, delicious breakfast buffet. I was so pleasantly surprised to find this jewel in the middle of Old Town

What a great hotel. Courteous staff that makes sure you are taken care of. Fantastic rooms with old school high ceilings and huge windows looking out over Old Town! A really neat old building with charm and class. The best place to stay in Wichita hands down.

This hotel has the best location, close to numerous restaurants, activities, and coffee places. The rooms were maybe a little bigger than average size but seemed much larger due to the high ceilings. The bathrooms were spacious. The decor is great and we loved the vintage feel. Everything seemed clean. I'm not sure if we just didn't have anyone in the rooms next to us or the walls are thicker than most hotels, but we didn't hear ANY noise from neighbors or the hallway. The front desk staff was very friendly and check in/out was a breeze. We didn't eat breakfast there, which was $15 a person and looked like it was pretty standard hotel breakfast fare. It was a great stay!

Attended a wedding nearby and this was where everyone stayed. Absolutely beautiful venue with cool antiquey rooms that are gorgeously redone but still have that old time feel to them. Everything was very clean and functional and it was very quiet in the rooms even though the hotel was full and old town was quite busy. Highly recommend!

Living our stay at Hotel at Old Town! Rooms are comfortable and real. Location is perfection, within walking distance to so many day and night attractions. Highly recommend for business or pleasure travel.

My husband took me for my birthday weekend. The hotel was immaculate and beautiful. The kitchen in our room was a total bonus, the refrigerator has an ice maker!!! Sweet!!! We enjoyed the interesting historic displays throughout the hotel. We had a great night at the piano bar. The bartender, Steve, says he makes the best Old Fashioned in Wichita...and he proved it!!! 10 out of 10!!! We wished we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely be back!

Located in heart of the town. You would have vibes from 100yrs back but with modern touch in its bedrooms, rest rooms and lobbies.

This place was awesome. Our room was giant with beautiful large windows, an old victorian feel and the biggest jacuzzi tub I've ever seen. We checked in late and both of the receptionists were polite and answered all our questions. The location of this hotel is smack dab in the middle of a very cool area with lots of restaurants, bars, live music, and markets. Parking was easy in the garage behind the hotel. I highly recommend staying here. It's a lovely little gem in Wichita!

First of all, the hospitality of the staff and their willingness to be accommodating were top-notch. The front desk was beyond helpful in assisting me to find a room last minute. Additionally, the building was beautiful, which was entirely unexpected. I am from out of state, and I went here purely out of convenience; I had no idea that I’d be receiving one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I will absolutely be staying here in the future if I ever find myself in the area. 10/10, HIGHLY recommend.
