Bite Me BBQ

The slogans on some of the t-shirts worn by restaurant staff may be somewhat offensive to some people. The food is fantastic. The servers are attentive and work extra hard. The atmosphere is very much bar like with dim lighting. The decor is rustic and the layout looks good. The place is clean. The BBQ sauce was tasty and the brisket on my nachos was cooked to tenderness. Really can't complain, prices are in the realm of standard for the market.

We both had the smoked prime rib and shared the peach cobbler and both were simply delicious!!! Perfectly done. Deciding what to have to eat was difficult because everything looked amazing coming out of the kitchen. We will definitely come back here again! Mystique was our server and did a super job!!

Stopped by on the way home from a long road trip. did not disappoint at all. the staff was friendly. food came out quick. Ridiculously awesome side pickle bar. Ordered bloody Mary and it came out fully loaded. you can have it as a whole meal. Street parking is easy to find. just wish we had more room to order more food to try. will definitely go back when passing thru town again. Cheers.

I'm from out of town and wanted to try some good Kansas BBQ. This place did not disappoint. The food is amazing, the ribs were tender and delicious, and the baked beans were like nothing I've ever had before. The staff is very friendly and service was perfect. I highly recommend trying Bite Me if you're looking for the best BBQ in Kansas.

I had the pork dinner. My son had the three meat dinner. All the meat was good.. The problem was with the bake beans. His was so stove hot to be uneatable. Mine had a chunk of pork in the cup, which I did not like. I the taste of the beans and the size of the serving cup was more than generous. The portion was generous . There was no bread, but it was not missed. My negative are minor. The BBQ sauce added nothing, but I selected the wimpy choice. My ice tea glass was ice-free at the end of the meal. I used my phone flash lights to read the menu. Our service was excellent.

Best BBQ in town. Chicken Fried Steak as big as your head! Delicious Prime Rib on Friday and Saturday nights. Housemade salsa and coleslaw-delicious! Excellent service and excellent food! Their specialty Bite Me Bloody Mary is a meal in itself!

This has been one of my all time favorite places to eat for a few years now. The food is incredible. I've had a lot of items and not one of them wasn't incredible. Service is always fast, courteous and kind. Establishment is always pristine. I've never had anything short of a perfect experience each time I'm here!

Came here to eat dinner as I am in Wichita for a couple of weeks. Bite Me BBQ has a great atmosphere, pretty quiet with various TVs showing sports and some music playing. The service was quick and friendly. The food is really good. The ribs are meaty but there are tendons throughout which I haven't ever experienced before with ribs. The baked beans are excellent, sweet potato fries are thick and personally I prefer them a bit more done but they were good.

They have a Pickle Bar with pickle slices along with various pickled items like small carrots, cucumber slices, okra etc. Spicy 🥵 but very good.

They do have a military 🎖🪖 discount which I believe is 15%.

We got lucky and had the burnt ends on Thursday. Amazing!!! Food is amazing. Staff is amazing. Just all around a great place. We were visiting from hawaii and this was the best BBQ we've had. A must!

Ehhh Bite Me! After strolling the mean streets of downtown Wichita this evening we made a stop at Bite Me BBQ on St. Francis. My travel partner and I shared the triple threat consisting of some fantastic spare ribs, chopped brisket, and pulled pork. The wimpy sauce had the perfect mix of sweet and just a little spice. We paired the protein with some homestyle mac n cheese and potato salad. Definitely worth the visit and the high customer ratings.

Suggested by a friend and they were right. Excellent bbq. Very tender and tasty sauce. Loved the sweet potato waffle fries. Waitress was nice and attentive. Thanks for a wonderful meal!

Great food, staff really slow. It was a take away order and they took 5 minutes just to start the order, otherwise great place.

visited here from San Diego with family. Wonderful food. Rib sandwich. Fries and baked beans. Brother in law had two meat dinner and niece had rib sandwich. Delicious. Service was great. We will be back.

I want this BBQ to be the last meal before I die.
I came here on a tuesday, which means it’s pork belly burnt ends day. For $16 you get THE BEST pork belly burnt ends with two sides.

The slaw was top 5 coleslaws. The sweet potato waffle fries were the best fries I’ve ever had. Piping hot, crispy, and FRESH.

The ambiance is old small town USA, with a bar, rustic wood tables, neon signs, and original country music playing.

They also have a station with onions, pickles, etc.

Coley was my server and she was the nicest person I think I’ve ever met.

Wow what a great local place. Stopped in for lunch it was busy but not crowded. We had bite me Bloody Mary, pulled pork sandwiches and ham sandwich. Everything was excellent. The Bloody Mary was lunch as it had each of their proteins on the glass. The chef came out several times to check on us looking for feedback. Return ? Absolutely

Absolutely amazing. Food was awesome & service was awesome. The amount of food that we got for 5 people & the amount of time it took to get it, just amazing. Thank you for that wonderful experience. I will definitely be suggesting Bite Me BBQ.

I had the two meat dinner with turkey and brisket, it was so good. Excellent slaw and potato salad too. Those two things are a must have and they often disappoint and Bite Me BBQ takes as much care on the sides as they do their meat. Save room for peach cobbler... Oh my goodness!

Brought an out of town coworker here for dinner. It was our first time having dinner. Had the rib dinner with beans and fries. Holly smokes!! I seriously thought they had served dinosaur ribs! They were HUGE!!

Meaty and seasoned perfectly! Absolutely delicious!! Will be back for sure!

The Brisket is legit S tier.
The Ribs are the best in town.
The service I sat at the bar and the bartender Lace was excellent.
If I HAD to complain. I guess it was kinda dark. GO TRY IT.

Turkey sandwich is exactly what they mention in the menu, like no other! It’s juicy, tender, tasty and just flat out delicious! Oh and the baked beans, don’t sleep on these, make sure you order when you visit! Friends had the brisket and they said the same on it, delicious. I almost forgot to take a pic, so it’s already in the To-Go tray, so glad I have some leftovers!!
