La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Wichita Airport

First and foremost the BEST customer service you could ask for. The folks at the front desk helped me and my family out in a pinch we another establishment all be screwed us over on our trip here. We explained the situation to them and then gave us discount because of the issue. They didn't have to do this but still did just to make the situation better for us. The rooms are amazing. They are clean and well kept. Absolutely recommend La Quinta!!!!!

We loved our experience. Despite this hotel being older and in a older commercial area around the airport, we were VERY impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel - top to bottom. Our room had been updated and was very clean!
The bonus is the reasonable pet fee compared to many competitors…especially for a one night stay.
The front desk staff was friendly, kind and efficient. We will stay here again the next time we pass through.

I was very clean. The room was nice and comfortable. It is next to the interstate which is close to the airport. So if you're wanting close to the airport, it's good. For convenience I would stay again. The breakfast was nice. The staff was nice. And they do have a shuttle.

Nice hotel. Good breakfast, but they should have more than one waffle station. There was a long line due to there only being one waffle maker. The rooms were nice & clean. Coffee and water were available all day. The outdoor pool was nice for the kids.

I checked in late afternoon on Sunday, and the gentleman behind the counter, Bobby, was helping a gentleman who didn't speak English. He was very patient with him, looked him in the eyes when he spoke, and offered genuine smiles. Witnessing that interaction set a very good tone for my visit.
The hotel itself is very modern and bright. It offers a small workout room and outdoor swimming pool on the main floor. There is a laundry room on the 4th floor right off the elevator. It's $2.00 to wash and $1.50 to dry, and you can purchase detergent and dryer sheets in the shop next to the front desk.
My room was on the very end, across from the stairs. It was very quiet, which I appreciated. The only fault with the room is no closet. Standard layout for a room. I had a king bed, which was very comfortable. It had a permanent rug under it, like glued to the floor. I found that interesting. There was a nice size t.v., microwave, and mini fridge located inside the dresser.
The bathroom was a good size and had an anti-fog mirror. It's the little things. The shower, no combo, had amazing water pressure. Some could find it hard, but I enjoy the pressure.
They offer a continental breakfast with a couple of hot options.
I've always thought of La Quinta as a nicer, maybe a higher end hotel. It didn't disappoint.

A+++++++++ all the way. Courtious staff, very clean, watched the cleaning crew going way above and beyond. Had ladder dusting pic frames in the lobby. All were in great spirits. Room was perfectly clean and smelled very good. Breakfast was fantastic. I have never stayed here before but WOW I will for sure if I came back. Thanks staff great job!!!

This place has been renovated and is beautiful. We stayed one night and have two cats. We were given a first floor room close to a side door (for easy in and out with the kitties). The beds are platform, so no hiding under the bed! The set up of the large room was perfect for pets. The room and bathroom were immaculate. The breakfast was fairly good. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles plus the usual continental breakfast food. Easy on and off the freeway but quiet. We didn’t use any of other amenities but will definitely put this on the list of places to return to when traveling the area. Plus the staff was very accomdating, professional and pleasant.

Rooms are nice and clean, and the AC works great. Full of bathroom supplies in the room with a pantry style shop downstairs for extras. I did ask for extra pillows since there were 5 of us in one room and the clerk said they were out?? I've never heard that before but maybe they were busy. I didn't pay so I don't know exact pricing but it will vary depending on time and room type.

Staff very nice, helpful, and made you feel welcomed. Lighting was so nice. Halls very well lit, along with a light above each door. Rooms very refreshing, and CLEAN, in fact the the whole motel was amazingly spotless. Highly recommend. We give it a 5+

I made a booking through Expedia that went totally wrong with date errors, and Expedia was incredibly difficult and would not work with me, left me stranded for 2.5 hours with no reservation resolution until 2AM. A resolution came when Janice at the front desk had an Expedia agent contact her directly to explain the issue- and she actually helped get me my nonrefundable Expedia booking refunded fairly, and then helped book me on the spot, even when Expedia had told me that there was no more open rooms for the night(which was not true). I was exhausted and at wits end with Expedia, and Janice assisted me kindly and promptly once I explained the issue to her. The room was clean and quiet, and thank you Janice for taking care of me!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It's clean. It's surprisingly quiet being sandwiched between an airport and highway. There are no carpet odors (frequent travelers know what I mean), the beds are inviting after a long day on the road. Staff is super friendly, nice area to walk the dog. Literally my only complaint is breakfast is very generic and they never have bacon! We have stayed here before and we would stay again.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! I stayed here while moving cross country with my two pets and the front desk was so helpful, they put me on the first floor right by the side door. The room was extremely clean and was well decorated. There were many restaurants conveniently located around the hotel and the highway was very accessible. I’m so glad I chose to stay here!

This place was great. The staff was amazing. The room was nice. The pool is indoors but cold. No hot tub. Hot breakfast was very good. The staff makes up for the pool and hot tub. They were so friendly and funny. We had a great stay here for 4 days.

Updated: I've been staying here for the past 5 over the Labor day weekend for a doll show. It is very nice, clean rooms, good hospitality and the the breakfast was wonderful! Even my pups enjoyed their stay minus the cockaburs! I return every year!

We pulled into Wichita late and needed a place to stay. Janice checked us in quickly. The hotel has been recently remodeled or built. The room was very clean with comfortable beds. The fog free mirrors are fancy and I felt like I was in a YouTube make up tutorial while putting my make up on. The breakfast was a great hot breakfast.
Another perk was this room was about $40 cheaper than the holiday inn express next door.

The staff are nice, and helpful. The room is Verry clean, it smells nice as well. We brought dogs with us, and we checked in with no problem. We enjoyed our stay, and I would love to book again with them in the future.

Professional and friendly front desk staff that helped me out very late at night. Kid and pet friendly. Room was very clean, bed was exceptionally comfortable, and every appliance in-room was in working order. Breakfast was great!

This place is great! Kind customer service, smooth check-in process, clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice towels, fridge, microwave and tv all work. The breakfast was bountiful, good coffee, and a REALLY nice fitness center! Wow, this was a great stay.

Rooms are always clean, convinient shopping and most importantly it is pet friendly as I always travel with my pup. Parking area is pretty well lit except for the rear entrance. There is always coffee and water available. Can't say much about breakfast due to covid-19. It's my go to hotel whenever I'm in town.
