Hyatt Place Wichita State University

Amazing hotel. We stay here every trip for business. Close to the school for walking and close to restaurants to walk to. The rooms are top notch and the bed is so good we can sleep all night with no problems. Quiet place to get a good nights rest. Our only concern was this morning the breakfast was missing items that are usually there. We had syrup, but nothing to put it on. We found the waffle marker up on the shelf. There was a spot for donut holes, but nothing there either. The coffee really isn’t the same when you don’t have pastry or something sweet to finish breakfast with. Again, last visit we didn’t have this problem, but that was a couple of years ago. Great hotel stay. Highly recommend it, but bring your own pastry if you like one with coffee. (We moved the waffle marker to where it should be for the photo, while my husband was holding both hands up saying where are they? lol.)

This was my first time here and the stay was fantastic. I don't stay in Hyatt hotels much but I might need to change that. My room was very nice and clean. The staff were all very nice. The breakfast was great everyday. I would stay here again.

This is a well located Hyatt in a park like setting next to the University. Always friendly and professional. Clean comfortable rooms, nice breakfast and easy parking. This is my go to for travel across this part of the country.

Stayed here overnight en route to Kansas City. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms and beds were comfortable. As a bonus, the breakfast was fantastic as well! Highly recommend this place if you’re ever staying in Wichita.

The hotel looks new,... contemporary, clean, quiet and very appealing. On the campus of Wichita State University. Plenty of parking, easy check-in/out, fitness room, swimming pool, and free wi-fi. Friendly service and pleasant staff.

Downsides: The adjoining neighborhood is questionable, but my rental car was never up on cider blocks. The free breakfast was disappointing,... eggs and bacon barely warm, orange juice bitter,

The breakfast at this location was amazing! I haven't had this good of a breakfast at a hotel since I went to an Embassy Suites. Also they have a great pool for the kids and the staff was very polite and helpful.

Best hotel stay in a long time. Got us in quickly, great service. The african american gentleman working nights deserves a raise. He was great to us!

Service was very nice. Had no problems going to sleep. The breakfast bar was very good. I would recommend this place to people who are wanting to stay the night in Wichita.

We brought my son and two friends for a birthday sleepover and they had the time of their lives and insisted I leave a great review. 😊 The staff were so friendly and helpful, that is what we appreciated most. We also loved the quality of the rooms and the view! I personally wasn't very fond of the breakfast, the waffles in particular were very hard, dry, and not tasty, but it satisfied us and we didn't go away hungry. I think it would be best to get there right when it starts for the best experience. The boys loved the pool and the gym. They have a really nice gym setup! I would definitely stay again.

A nice hotel on the campus of WSU - making it extremely accessible for parents of enrolled students. As nice as the hotel may be, its staff are what sets it apart. Exceptional customer service and support. Special thanks to Tevin, working the front desk on the morning of 1/16/24 - saved my a** when I had a work deadline.

The room was very clean and had extra blankets. Plenty of towels and pillows. The size was perfect. The breakfast had the best selections I’ve seen lately.

Nice rooms, but the pool was a bit cold. Loved the 24hr Starbucks - made up for the pool, heh.

Excellent stay experience at this Hyatt, especially considering the price. Clean rooms, clean beds, clean lobby and high-quality complementary breakfast. Will definitely keep this location in mind if we return to the Wichita area.

I typically try to stay away from college campuses when I do my stays. I actually got this last minute. I was pleasantly surprised with it all. The location, the room as well as the cleanliness of everything. Definitely spacious and worth it. Since I was working, I didn't get to try the eats here, but definitely next time!

The hotel staff is what makes this hotel great! They are super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It’s in a great location and is well kept. I will happily stay here again.

Very grateful they opened this location. Front desk is always welcoming and helpful. They have a bar but not a true bartender. However their staff does their best to make drinks. One of the best hotels in Wichita.

Clean, reliable Hyatt hotel at Wichita State University.

For someone visiting from out of town, this was a really convenient hotel for both pricing and location. Super central to Wichita State and a frequent choice for people coming from out of town to watch football 🏈 games at the stadium.

Worth mentioning the free breakfast 🍳 provided and really friendly staff. Definitely gets a good review from me! 💯

Great little Hyatt Place near Wichita State University. I road-tripped here with my two pups from Austin and the team went out of their way to make us all feel welcome and comfortable. Rooms are newish, clean and quiet. The outdoor spaces surrounded by water made a good escape for evening meals or drinks. Recommended!

We just finished a fantastic stay here! Spotless, quiet, tons of amenities and brand new, but the staff is by far the best part of this hotel. They were kind, friendly, attentive and soo helpful. From the beginning, Jenni was so kind to my daughters and made them excited to be there. Thank you, jenni! You’re the best. The room was in great condition and had all the amenities we needed. Pool was great and breakfast delicious! We recommend this 1000000% and will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town!
