Super 8 by Wyndham Wichita North

After losing everything I stayed here and the employees became like family. Ronnie (maintenance) and Mel (front desk) have helped me so much like they were my parents, Erica (cleaning) and her husband have became like siblings, Jesse (front desk) always makes sure I'm okay he's like my cousin and Dakota (front desk) is like my best friend and every time I cook or go to the store I make sure everyone has what they have what they need... it's like a big house not a motel I love it. My dog even found herself a boyfriend

My work booked me here. Honestly the beds aren't anything to write home about but that's what you get with the price difference. Besides that though, the hotel was great, didn't smell, some of the furniture was a little bit aged but nothing was broken or anything or completely unusable. When I stayed here it was sold out but the soundproofing in this hotel is amazing, through my stay I didn't even hear a pin drop from outside my room. For almost $40 off a night I would say it's absolutely worth staying at this hotel. I asked the front desk about the reviews just because I was curious, according to them they are under brand new management and they went through a rough period with evictees leaving bad reviews as they were evicting a lot of people first smoking and drugs, from my stay I saw no evidence of that. asking my work to book me here again!

Stopped to rest on our trip to relocate. Travelling with our 2 dogs. Loved the decor od the lobby amd rooms, room was clean, shower was hot and beds were comfy. Decent breakfast before we hit the road in the morning.

It was everything I look for in a hotel! Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and smelled fresh. Air conditioner was very quiet, it didn't wake me up every time it kicked on, and kept the room nice and cool. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water on demand and the pressure was good. Plenty of spare outlets to plug my stuff in. They had a basic continental breakfast that served my need. I would highly recommend this Super 8 and will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area!

The staff is always so friendly. Jade, Dakota, and the rest of the staff are very kind and accommodating. They are also very pet friendly and will love on your fur babies if allowed. Highly recommend this hotel for a budget option in a nice part of town.

Excellent service. The room was very inviting and super clean. The only thing this room had wrong was peeling paint in the bathroom on the ceiling and rust on the ceiling. Bug free. Comfortable bed. Great location. I came here for work and this hotel was welcoming. The only other thing wrong was the elevator smelled strong of urine.. Would definitely recommend d and we will definitely be back. One of the best hotels we have stayed in.

The staff was incredible. I am very disabled. I use a wheelchair. I required help getting my wheelchair out and in my vehicle. Maintenance helped me many times on that plus brought all of my stuff in and out, not a small task. The desk crew where great! Would highly recomend this place for staff alone!!!

Super nice staff, very helpful too. The continental breakfast was great as well. Room was clean and the decor was very inviting. Decent flat screen tv with cable. I liked that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room too. Definitely plan on coming back again!

Clean rooms, working air conditioner and fridge, great decor everywhere, pleasant staff, breakfast avail even while country is having a "special moment." Excellent price!!! You definitely get more than what you pay for here. Very, very happy with my stay here. Will definitely drive an extra hundred miles or so to stay here again. Thank you Super 8 by Wyndham 😍

Outstanding room for the price. I don't know how you'd do any better for over twice the price! Room is very clean, some minor cosmetic issues but bedding is clean, bed mattress is comfortable, fridge/microwave clean and functioning and each table lamp has a USB charging port! I recently stayed at a 4-star chain that didn't have a single one!!
I would highly recommend this place and look forward to spending the money saved on some local craft brews.

We had a 3 bed large hotel room. Hands down the best super 8 we have stayed at. Newly remodeled, great decor, glamorous lobby with lots of sparkle. Room was amazing. No tub, but walk in shower with seat. Will absolutely be staying here again on our trips through KS.

One of the most interesting Super 8 that I've ever visited. One of my travelling companions said it best with... "It looks like Elton John decorated this place!"
There was crazy, sparkle-y art everywhere and the lobby had a retro-modern feel.

Pro tip for large parties, this Super 8 has at least a few rooms that have 3 double beds in them.

Overall, a very comfortable place to rest your head for a reasonable price.

I am a fan of Super 8's. I know that I will get a good, comfortable room wherever I stay. That being said, I was really surprised by this one! I booked my room the day before and found an AMAZING rate on the Windom site,. Because it was so low my expectations were not that high regarding location or age of the hotel. I was totally blown away! Not only was the facility clean and the staff kind (as I've come to expect at Super 8) but the location was in a nice part of town and everything was just beautiful! I didn't ask, but it all looked shiny and new. The halls has plenty of space and the room was big and roomy. I would stay in this hotel again on a heartbeat!

This was the best Super 8 I have ever stayed at. The lobby is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are very clean. There was a smell that resembled a men's locker room in the hallway, but it did not smell in the room at all so it was hardly an inconvenience. I would still give this hotel a 10/10. Not to mention the incredible rate. Impossible to beat.

Having been to the other super 8 across town and walking out we just wanted a clean place to stay. We arrived here and were greeted with a clean reception, a fantastic staff member who couldn’t do enough to help us and given our diamond wyndhams status gave us our complimentary drinks. The room (king) was clean and unlike many other rooms I appear to have gotten lucky and was greeted by a 65inch flat screen tv. Bathroom was clean, room was clean. Well done THIS super 8, this is how budget motels should and could be run if the owners (like this one) take pride in their establishment.

This is my favorite Super 8 to stay at. The rooms are spacious, it is pet friendly, I never have any hassle staying here. Food is close and there is a guest laundry. Also like that it is uniquely decorated. Laid back staff and it is usually the cheapest super 8, definitely best bang for your buck!

Haven't even gotten there yet but the front desk guy Zeco was awesome! Super friendly, hilarious. Put me and my best friend in a great mood and got us an amazing deal. Definitely will be staying here again or any other properties owned by them.

This place is amazing! Front desk woman was so nice and so sweet. No issues checking in. No riff raff hanging around. All the amenities you would expect from a 2-3 star hotel. My family and I will be staying here again.

The room was nice and large. I was able to sleep well during the day (I work nights) without the housekeeping staff waking me. Free breakfast is always nice after working a 12-13 hours night shift.

They were very accommodating. My dad just got out of the hospital, and we had to stay the night in Wichita before going home the next day, so we chose here. He could not climb stairs, so the clerk put us near a room that was very near the elevator. They really helped us a lot. I would definitely choose to stay here again on any future trips to Wichita.
