DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Wichita Airport

This was ideal for us as we were flying out of Wichita at 6am. The hotel is nice. Ideal for big events I imagine. Our room was cool and clean and the front desk staff were really friendly. Although you could walk to the airport terminal we got the 24 hour shuttle as we were laden down with bags and it was so early in the morning. Would definitely stay here again if we had another early flight.

Very convenient location, landed at the Wichita airport from California and was able to easily take the 5 min walk to the hotel. I didn't have a reservation, but was taken care of and booked a room in less than 2 minutes at the front counter. Gage was extremely friendly and welcoming, offering us cookies and water. He explained thoroughly where the room was located in the north tower. The room was big, the bed was comfy, and the price was great! (That might just be because I'm used to California prices though) they do offer a shuttle service to the airport but it's so close we didn't utilize it. They also display the flight information on TV's in the lobby. Would definitely use this location again if I'm ever back in Kansas. Thank you!

There is NOTHING and I mean NOTHING bad to say about this place. Everything is super clean the bed so clean and comfy it felt like home, restaurant down in the lobby is fabulous, the coffee is fabulous and the staff well let's just say you won't find any nicer and more helpful staff that these folks. I give them a 20 out of 10******* stars 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 all the way.

I was blown away by the service and hospitality I received. I check3d in just minutes before 10pm. I'd been driving for 5 hours and hadn't gotten a chance to eat dinner. I asked as I was checking in if there were options for eating nearby. 3 employees were giving me options before one asked me if I wanted a burger and fries from the kitchen. I said that would be so great. As the kitchen was to close at 10, an employee literally ran to the kitchen and asked them to cook me up a burger and fries. The desk attendant offered to allow me to keep my bags at the front desk while I waited for my burger. As they were cooking someone from the kitchen came out and asked if I wanted cheese. I couldn't believe the kindness and hospitality. I will always book this hotel going forward.

Great location, tidy rooms, and has a few amenities such as the pool and gym to get some exercise if you are here for training or a conference. There is a nice restaurant just to the right of the lobby. The restaurant is a little pricy but gives large portions so you don't need to order too much. Overall, a great place to stay when you are in Wichita for business at the airport. Also, no rental car is necessary. Just a four minute walk to the hotel from the terminal.

Located 3 mins from the airport...the location is ideal. I was not able to take advantage of the food....late check-in and early check-out. Rooms were great...Great night of sleep in comfortable beds. The morning...the shower was confusing..you hit hot before it goes cold. I turned it all the way thinking I was going to have to take a cold shower. Happily stay here again!

We went to a conference on February 8, 2024. We didn't stay overnight so we can't review the rooms, but the hotel was clean, and everyone on staff was friendly. The conference rooms, chairs, and temperature were comfortable. The conference rooms were easy to find with plenty of restrooms close by. What I was most impressed with was the food and beverage staff. The food (breakfast and lunch) was scrumptious, and the staff was very attentive. Special shout out to Melissa for getting her charging block for me so I could charge my phone! She was the real MVP! 💚

One of the best DoubleTree hotels I've stayed in.. I'm a truck driver and I travel alot all over. I try to stay at Hilton brand hotels as often as I can but this one is one of my favorites. The room was nice and clean and very comfortable. The service in the lobby and the restaurant was excellent. Plus the cookies... I will be back if I'm passing through..

Can’t say much for the rooms as we just met family here for dinner. The restaurant was amazing. Great service, great food!

A person can't ask for a better location at Wichita Eisenhower airport. Just out the driveway and you are on the airport loop with Access to the parking, ticket counters, and passenger pickup or dropoff, easy peasy! The hotel has a real full facility restaurant and bar that may be a bit pricey BUT the food was excellent and the service was great.

This is a great hotel. Reasonably priced and a short 3 minute walk to the airport check in.

I was impressed by two things;

1. I ended up in a mobility room, nit sure if I accidentally booked it or if other specialty room were booked.

I've worked in an industry that has a large population of people living with differing abilities and am familiar with the variety of accommodations available to offer in hotel rooms that try to address any number of guests needs, and I recognize how thoughtful and thoroughly this room has been considered and thought through. Kudos to the management and maintenance team on this.

2. See the attached letter. Good on the local management for trying to address changes in corporate policy that haven't been welcomed by customers, based on feedback. Loyalty and hotel stay policies are adjusted all the time based on market demands. I suspect some of these policies, too, will change in the future, for better or worse.

Overall the hotel is very well adorned, nicely laid out, clean and updated. The rooms are clean and modern, and they have a nice restaurant and a separate bar/lounge that's very nice with a modern gas fireplace.

Great hotel and at a great value.

Stayed two nights here and enjoyed it. The beds were comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. We've stayed at this one before and the service was once again great. Breakfast was delicious. The pool was nice and we enjoyed the view of the terminal and getting to watch the planes come and go.

The room was huge. When we arrived we were greeted with bottled water and warm cookies! Convinently across from the parking garage for the airport.

Attended a conference held at this hotel and I would definitely recommend!

The restaurant inside the hotel has one of the steaks I’ve eaten, which says a lot, I’m a steak connoisseur. The drinks are a top notch heavy pour, and the staff is super nice.

Not much patio / hangout space on the exterior for a smoker, but the inside was stellar & room smelled good and was clean!

The room was very well cleaned and the hallways were huge and beautiful. I would 100% recommend staying here. It is great for children, it has a pool and a workout room! Breakfast was wonderful, comes with a lot of options. The location is very convenient if you have a flight early morning. It is right by the airport. The employees were great and the employee Joe was so sweet and gave us cookies! He even helped take our bags to our room. Love this hotel so much. Best hotel I’ve been to. The only thing I would recommend is a hot tub :)

I’ve had wonderful stays here. The hotel is nice but the staff makes it happen. The rooms are tight and no issues found on my inspection. There is places close for food and more. It’s literally a short walk right from the terminal.

Nice exercise room and pool.

I have been to a few other ones that I’ll pass on.

Update 6/24/24- Another great stay. Ordered dinner every night from Chisholms, was fantastic, and super staff! Don't forget that delicious cookie every day! And at dusk, go outside and check out the European Starling and Purple Martin invasion! Amazing!

Right across the street from Wichita Airport. Friendly staff, great restaurant, beautiful and enormous older hotel. Will definitely be back when in Wichita again.

Loved it. Stayed on the top floor, executive rooms. You can look at my review of the restaurant if you like. Five stars. Great front desk experience, great experience with the staff as a whole. Housekeeping was the best ever.

Hilton, I don't know how you hire the best young people you do, but I know how I would do it. If I were still in the business, I'd just steal yours.
