Claflin Books and Copies

Had an awesome time. The owner is super kind and helpful. Is not a huge bookstore, but has really good books. Couldnt be happier with the place, will be back again.

Tiny bookshop with a surprisingly diverse selection of books. They focus on local authors and Kansas centric literature but do have a good variety of other books. The owner clearly cares about the community and is a wealth of knowledge (a genuine pleasure to talk with). You don't feel like just another customer in Claflins.

I stopped in the other day for the first time and was looking for a book that was a fat chance. The fat chance didn't happen but I had the best time chatting with the store owner. I ended up leaving with a book that I didn't even know I wanted and titled, The Persian Pickle. I really enjoyed the book. I will be back in and this little shop is a gem.
