Easy parking across the street...or they validate for the garage a few steps up the street.
Place is clean and organized.
Music is not too loud.
Staff is attentive to all.
Started with the Paloma which was perfectly made... tasty without being overpowered by the tequila.
Chips and salsa as appetizer. This is a must try as the salsas are delicious.
Shrimp and fish tacos are wonderful.
I will return on a regular basis.

Really amazing service, dined on my own as was in town for work, and could decide so left everything in the capable hands of the server (sorry I didn't catch your name!) But wow, food was hot, came quickly and the entire place had a great atmosphere and welcome. Very clean and great drinks selection too. Recommended to colleagues and will be visiting next time I am in KC.

Very clean, cool vibes, guests are welcome to stick stickers (on metal surfaces). The food is fantastic! Poblano salsa is always served up, and they rotate the hot salsa between 4 varieties.
All dishes served up family-style for an engaging, yummy time enjoying good company! We will definitely be back!

Food was super yummy and the drinks were so good! A friend and I split a pitcher of strawberry mission margaritas and an order of the Queso Con Chorizo to start and they were so good, the margarita is so smooth and their sour mix is made in house! We split 4 different tacos, the BLT, the Carne Molida, the Yucatecan Pork, and the BBQ Chicken. The carne molida was our favorite by far, with the pork taco being my second favorite. The staff was so friendly and helpful with anwsering our questions. Would definitely come back here again!

As a vegetarian, we love the options here. Extremely friendly service. Colorful ambiance. Would go back here again for sure when around this area .

Atmosphere: It’s very loud, spacing is a little tight but seems cozy. The tables are a nice bright wood (I’m a fan)

“Brah-ito” review: With some very nice cooked pulled pork, this beast of a burrito had some delicious melty cheese. And had everything blended perfectly together. 10/10

Waiters: 10/10!! The waitress was checking up on us fairly frequently which I highly appreciate. She was super sweet and brought good vibes and energy. Love the positivity in the workers!

I was impressed that this Mexican restaurant had so many vegetarian and pescetarian options! The mushroom quesadilla was a great addition to the menu (it would've been especially great if served with guacamole), and I'd love to come back to try the fish tacos. 4.5 stars.

The staff was friendly the moment we entered. Our wait staff Isaiah was awesome. He never left us in need. The manager Jamie was so nice to wash our baby’s bottle. Definitely a safe place for all with wonderful staff and food.

A fantastic find.

I must preface with we had been sanding and painting for hours then the pantry was bare. A quick shower and costume change was required to start our refuelling process. While already in motion he said, "let's head to the Plaza and see what we can find with outdoor seating". I was instantly horrified; paint was under my nails, hair was still wet and I'd thrown on my mom jeans.

Mission Taco Joint is where we landed outdoor seating. The atmosphere is unpretentious and they really seem to care about food quality and customer experience.

We were pleased with the Chips & Salsa flavor, portion and heat. I ordered a Portobello and a Vegan Tacos. The Portobello was such an immense pleasure that I ordered another. He ordered the Cali Burrito and was impressed. The takeout container limited plastic to only the salsa lids...so kudos to them.

The red table wine was just so-so but it was still a great end to long day.

We will definitely go back.

Discovered this place while traveling once in St Louis, and was so pleased to find locations in KC!! Mission Taco Joint is wholeheartedly in my top five favorite places to eat.

Tacos are served “family style” here, coming out on a large platter for all to share. The burritos are large enough to share. Salsa never disappoints, and the other side dishes are always tasty!

We typically have great service, enjoy the atmosphere, and rarely have to wait for food.

Mercedes and Phoebe took great care of us. The meat in my Taco's had fantastic flavor and the Guacamole was the best!

Their tacos are incredible. Margaritas are great! Do yourself a favor and get a mezcal marg and a BLT taco. I recommend trying 3 different ones. Two is enough but 3 will definitely fill you up. Tacos are around 3.50 which is an amazing deal.

We walked in and ordered this takeout option that feeds 4. With no advance notice we were coming they had it ready in under 10 minutes. And the spread was REALLY good. The build-your-own aspect was perfect for us. Everything was so good too. The chicken, the black beans, the salsas, the rice, all the fixings, the pork. We got a mix of corn and flour tortillas as well. Just superb. Really impressed by this option. $50 and we had dinner then lunch the following day. Great deal.

First time for us and it was delicious. Service was top notch. Nice, different, variety of taco choices. Quality of food and presentation was very good. We'll definitely return!

My husband and I went here for a date and it was lovely. We were served by Madi, who went above and beyond to give us wonderful customer service. She was so incredibly thoughtful and it really made our night. We had such a great time and their churros were so delicious. We will definitely be making this a new date spot ❤

I cannot recommend this place enough, love love love it!
I always joke that I'm thankful that I don't live right next to this restaurant .. but truthfully I wish I did because I'd indulge 3x a week!

Amazing food had the Chipotle chicken torta. Was to die for.

I came here with some classmates and had a great time dining on the patio. The Baja Fish Taco and Portobello Taco are both delicious, as was the Portobello quesadilla I brought home for my husband. Chips and salsa were also very good - that spicy one really packs a punch! Our waitress was new, but she did a great job and was very friendly. Street parking is always a bit annoying, but I found a spot a couple streets over, so the walk wasn't too bad. I'll be coming back!

The food is so good and pretty authentic the servings are generous, and our waitress Alex was great!
