Well, it's winter here, and it's just so nice to go into a greenhouse and breathe in the nice greenhouse air!!! Yes, it's a great place during the summer as well as great selections to choose from. I get a lot of my perennial plants here as they have so many of the pollinators selection that I like, and I have had great success keeping them alive. I didn't get any pics, but they do have a huge selection of trees to pick from as well.

They also have started doing a small tasting spot in the garden, which is life. A small area to buy some honey, wine, fruit, etc....

Across the street, they started doing dine with alpacas, which I haven't done but looks like fun.

Beautiful place to walk around and enjoy all the living things. They have a nice area for lounging and visiting, sometimes live bands play. The ambiance is warm, relaxed, and inviting. I've been here on a romantic date with the hubby where we enjoyed a live band, walking around with some cocktails during 'Sip and Shop'. I've also visited with my girlfriends during events such as 'breakfast with the Llamas' 💕 🦙 Right now, they have decked their halls, and those poinsettias are gorgeous!

First place we visited for a tree, hubs wasn’t entirely sold on the price, so we visited no less than 5 other nursery’s. Some didn’t offer trees, some the staff were kind but not very knowledgeable, some that staff were missing, and no assistance could be found! Colonial Gardens kept standing out as the best each new place we tried. They were a bit more expensive, but I 100% believe you get what you pay for! And we received TOP NOTCH service! From everyone! Immediately greeted when we came in, was asked if we needed help, was given professional advice from John and Brian, John even drove us around and showed us various types of trees (incredible selection!) we might be interested in for our home. They really set, and KEPT the bar high! I’m just so pleased with Colonial Gardens! Wouldn’t it be lovely if all our sales transactions were as pleasant as they were here?!

My mom and I went to the Flower Festival August 19th. We had a blast! It was so beautiful. We got to pick as many flowers as we could in a 5 gallon bucket for $45. One nice thing is you can bring the bucket back and refill it for $30 next time you want to pick flowers. Great price. Friendly staff. Worth the experience if you love picking flowers and just hanging out in an orchard.

They also have rows and rows of apple trees you can pick. We didn't do that part, but it looked fun too!

What a fantastic place! I was very surprised by the scope of products they offer from locally sourced groceries to any garden accessory you could need. They've got an immense plant selection with very reasonable prices but their staff is where they truly shine the brightest. What happy, helpful people! You can tell they truly enjoy being there and it absolutely spills over to the customer. ***Free potting when you buy a plant and a pot too-how cool is that?!***

My Mim and I took a succulent class. For $20 we had chips and salsa and filled a 5 inch pot with 3 succulents, dirt and rocks. Very beautiful and relaxing environment.

Colonial Gardens is such a beautiful nursery! I live a few minutes away and frequent this place often with my baby! We love watching their chickens and browsing the greenhouse and all the plants. They have so much variety and every visit I find something new! They also have a great section with plants under $5, baby plants, this is where I buy most of my greens!! All the plants are so healthy and they are competitive in their pricing I haven’t found better deals anywhere else! Joy is so sweet! If you have any plant needs or questions go to her she will help you above and beyond!

The return policy is one day only so I hope that changes in the future (I have cats and sometimes pick up a plant that I didn’t realize was poisonous, I have a nibbler kitty so it’d be nice to exchange the plant). But other than that it’s a great place! Plus the cafe serves delicious food and drinks. They also have a farm side where you can go berry picking but I haven’t done that yet.

This is incredible place to go. I absolutely love that you can shop for your home, decor, find the most amazing fresh produce and groceries and even grab brunch here. And, to top it off, their plants are second to none.

As a new gardener, I enjoy shopping here. It's a beautiful place, especially since it's been remodeled and expanded, and the staff are knowledgeable. My kids feel comfortable exploring and enjoy the visits too. (Although I do spend extra money when the kids are with me because they always find something cool!)

Colonial Gardens is so cool! I love to visit this nursery whenever I’m in town to see what they have. I found a huge v. hoya compacta and they have tons of other plants to see!

Colonial Gardens is an incredible place to go for flowers and vegetable plants. The staff are very knowledgeable about the plants and are happy to share advice. I asked a staff person for a 30-second tutorial about growing tomatoes as this will be my first year, and she gave me a lot of information but appropriate for me as a beginner. Joy provided a lot of assistance in choosing plants for full sun, and she planted everything for me (for a reasonable price) in my own flower pot that I brought from home. Joy is an absolute professional and exhibits her zeal for the work that she does! I highly recommend Colonial Gardens!

This place has grown so much in the last several years. The nursery has everything, and is well taken care of. My favorite part might be the market with locally made/grown foods. We haven't been to any classes or you-picks yet, but definitely want to check those out.

I went there for the carnivorous plant Workshop. It was very informative and fun. Plus I ended up with a very nice terrarium full of plants.
